I’ve used these for years, the are excellent for cleaning near my Maltese’s eyes

This has helped clean my Shih Tzu's eye area. I have an elderly dog that has eye problems and is partially blind. The eye produces a lot of gunk and it is hard to get rid of it. This with some liquid cleanser has worked so well.

I have an eight month old Maltese puppy that's tiny (9 pounds) and completely white. And like many small breed, pale dogs he gets these weirdly ugly eye buggers that seep down from his eyes and eventually change the color of the fur below his eyes to a browish-reddish color. I need to wipe his eyes clean on a daily basis, but if I get busy or forget to do this, something's those eye buggers turn crusty and get caught in the fur around his cute little black eyes. This little tool solves that problem, enabling one to comb those crusty things out. Now, you have to be extremely careful, because they are kinda sharp and pretty pointy, and your dog isn't going to like it. But if you create as relaxing an environment as you possibly can and then proceed to work swiftly & efficiently, yet cautiously, you'll find this tool is the best. I mean, it really, truly does a fantastic job. I could not keep my pup's eyes clean without it and that's the truth. I believe as time goes on he'll become more relaxed when I use this tool, but it's still pretty new to us. Excellent tool.

I have tiny dogs, one of which is still a puppy, so regular sized brushes don't work for grtting the gunk out from near their eyes. I was so happy when I found this! It works perfect for what I need, and is the perfect size for cleaning up my puppy's face. The quality is nothing to write home about, but the combs aren't suoer flimsy and they get the job done. They're well worth the price.

Excellent tool for cleaning the debris that comes from the eye and stains the hair beneath the eye. Keep in mind that it's just a tool. I take a warm cloth compress to the eyes each night to soften the goop. Then I use the comb side of the tool, CAREFULLY, not to pull and not to get in their eyes and scratch the eyeball. This only takes about 3-5 minutes and the results are very good. Happy puppy.

The comb was good for eye boogers and tear stains and the brush was great for helping out with dirty ears. But the head of the tool snapped right off. On both of them. Bummer.

Good value for the money and work great on my dog. 2 was a good option as I lost one when I was away with the dog so handy to have for going away.
