I wish I bought this sooner. It’s lightweight and not too noisy. Very easy to use it reminds me of hoovering:). Battery seems to last a long time and the best bit is you don’t need to keep emptying grass clippings into a bin. One thing to mention - keeps cutting off when the grass is too long. But as long as you keep on top of it, it works brilliantly. I use it on higher setting which is perfect for me. Still need to use a grass trimmer for the edges but not as much as with the regular mower.

When you buy a brand name like GTech you know what you are paying for. Quality. Simple instructions that make sense - no complicated diagrams showing parts not contained. Does the job it’s designed to do. Good customer service. I have a small garden with lawn about 10 foot by 8 foot - approximately. Grows like crazy. My first mower on a lead barely lasted a year. My manual was quite good but reasonably hard work and was poor at reaching edges and corners. I had just done No Mow May and the grass was about a foot high. I used my manual first to get the worst of it cut. Then after incredibly easy assembly and powering the battery - I gave it a go. It was slightly tricky keeping the side buttons depressed whilst pressing the on button and I had to stop several times to start again. I would remove half a point for that if I could but suspect as I get used to it I’ll find that far easier. Light - but not like a ‘child’s toy’ as I read it described - it’s like a light lawn mower! Easy to use with one hand - I have an injured shoulder so liked that. Easy to store. Did my back lawn easily - in less than 10 minutes. And it did my tiny front lawn very swiftly too. One battery charge more than did the job. It’s back in the charge now and the mower is in my shed. Nice one G Tech!

Very light weight. High quality product. However be aware, it only has 2 cutting heights. The 40mm shortest cut will be too long for many peoples liking including mine! I managed to get it to cut 30mm by removing the blade from the drive shaft and slipping a 15mm copper pipe olive over the shaft as a spacer . I'm now very happy with the machine.

Only positive is that it is very lightweight. However it is lightweight because its design is that of a low grade strimmer having a low grade strimmer blade. Highly over priced for what it is. Insufficient grass heights mean you end up having to strim first if grass longer than 1.5 inches. This defeats the object of buying a lightweight machine for those that cannot use heavy mowers as it’s big overall effort to strim then cut. I like it in that it's very light and easy to move, I think it would be good for people with reduced mobility. My lawn is 12 foot by 5 foot, so not very big, and on the first spring cut it wore the battery completely flat just cutting half of it. There was also a lot of stopping and starting as it struggled with the longer tufts, so it felt like a lot of work. I think when the lawn is regularly maintained it'll work much better, but it definitely has it's limitations and I'd have hoped the battery would last a lot longer, at least enough to enable me to do the whole lawn without having to stop and charge halfway. It's worth putting up with for how small and light it is though. I live in a terrace and have a small patch of front lawn too, so I'll have to carry it through my house now and then and needed something I'd be comfortable doing that with.

I was looking for a cordless mower as it is such a faff getting out extension cable, also having to empty collection bag or rake after mowing. This machine is so lightweight, mows really well and as a bonus it mulches the cuttings (not even visible after mowing). Battery life covers both front and back lawns more than once. Now if the lawn puts on a spurt, I can walk out, mow both lawns and it's no longer a big job or a chore. Lawns are looking very healthy too. Highly recommended

Easy to assemble and adjust height, I've got a herniated disc so lower back problems and having bought a brilliant but heavy Einhell cordless cylinder mower, I struggled with getting it in and out of its storage place.. It also weighs almost 12kg hence my struggle with it so I treated myself to this one and it is much lighter to move around and use on the lawn.. It doesn't cut as low as the cylinder one but it's fine for my use and no longer a struggle so don't need to pay anyone else to do it.. I'm hoping it lasts a long time.. The easiest mower to put together, click the handles on to each other, I'll add a before and after photo as you have to look closer to see the difference but it's still better than the struggle with the heavy cylinder mower.. The first after photo was at 50mm and the new one I did today on 40mm and it's low enough for me

Ordered this yesterday, read the instructions, put it together and adjusted the cutting height in minutes. Charged the battery and ready to go, that simple. I hate gardening of any sort, but needs must. Set off this morning even though I was concerned that the grass was rather too damp. I needn’t have worried, this little machine is a dream to use. I have a back problem and anything physical tends to hurt. No bending down to push cuttings to the back of the collection box, then having to empty it, I could go on. It’s easy to clean and so small for storage. It didn’t cut out once despite my concerns as the grass was quite tufty as well as damp. I wasn’t convinced about the mulching in theory, but in practice it seems pretty damned good, you can’t tell that the cut grass is there. More than good enough for me, I just want to cut the grass quickly and painlessly and I can with this little machine. Hardly used any power either, the battery is still showing 4 bars.
