I have sensitive skin with thick course hair, and am highly prone to burn and ingrown hairs/razor bumps. As a result, I've had to electric shave my head and face for most of my life. Since my 20's, even when I had a full head of hair, I've shaved my head every couple of days and always lamented the fact that I couldn't achieve the ultimate smoothness of a wet razor shave.Until recently...This King C Gillette Gel is the only product I've found in 30-odd years of searching, that allows me to wet shave. I've tried all the Proraso type fancy soaps/creams, with expensive lather brushes and bowls, as well as other brands of gel, but they all leave me with my scalp in a mess of redness and bumps. The difference is that this Gillette Gel is off the scale for slickness. It's been a revelation.I wet my head, apply by hand, and use with DE Razors and Leaf razors (with sharp Feather blades) as well as cartridge razors like Fusion 5's, ProGlides and Skinguards, and achieve "BBS" shaves in two passes with zero irritation and bumps.It only requires one application, and can be "reactivated" simply by wetting your hand and rubbing your head between passes. It actually takes quite some washing off for the slickness to go, so you never lack enough product and slickness to lubricate the blade against skin.Smells good too, but sadly I've become nose-blind to it. Wish they did it in multiple scents so I could swap around.I don't know why the packet says it is for "styling". It's for hardcore shaving and they are probably losing sales by making it appear that it's not really designed for a serious full shave. The transparency is actually useful for a full shave, as you are less likely to miss parts.I'd be gutted if this was ever discontinued as I'd be forced to go back to a foil shaver.

Quality shaving gel that provides a close & comfortable shave. Recommended.

First time using it, felt as though it dries up really quick on the skin. Will have to use it a few more times to see how i get on with it.

Good for defining beard as you can see the edge of your beard. Very slippery so a small amount goes a long way. No shaving burn and moisturises. Smells good.

It’s ok, it’s not as good as king of shaves, not as fresh feeling or as nice to use. Still ok however.

This is my go to shaving gel. The best shaving gel for lining up beard/moustache.

Ich war wirklich überrascht wie gut das funktioniert. Keine Irritationen, rasiert sich super geschmeidig. Der Duft ist vielleicht etwas intensiv, das sollte man mögen, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Ansonsten absolut top, würde ich nicht mehr hergeben.

I've been using the transparent shave gel for a while and I wouldn't go back. I like to keep mi beard shape very precise and the transparent gel really helps with defintion, but also getting your skin less irritated. Recommended 100%
