These were the first milk kefir grains that I tried, and I really loved the flavor and texture that they produced. The taste was excellent, the thickness could be counted upon. I could take it when it was thinner or leave it out just a little bit longer to get thick - more like yogurt and my family was thoroughly enjoying it. My problem initially was that the grains were so small that when I used a strainer that would contain them. I lost the thickness and when I used a strainer that would allow me to retain some of the thickness, I lost the grains. I decided to try a different brand that appeared to have particularly large grains and I received those and they were indeed large and it was a larger amount than any other I had seen offered for the same price. So they were great. They worked immediately. There was no down time, but I was never getting the thickness that I wanted. The taste was also rather bitter and after a couple of weeks my family and I decided that we just needed to go back to what we had before, which was this product the simply life probiotics milk kefir grains, because the taste and texture was far superior. I needed to figure out how to keep the grains while getting the texture that I wanted, and I remembered previously having had reusable tea bags. I ordered a pack of those along with these new grains, and this is the perfect method for using these grains. I've seen a lot of bad reviews of these that specifically state that the grains are too small, but when the end product is so much more superior than others that have the larger grains, I think that finding a way to hold on to the grains and maintain that flavor and texture was much more important than the size of the grains.

I have been making milk kefir for over 12 years, and I was disappointed with the quality of the kefir grains I received from this order. The grains arrived with a concerning pink/orange tint and were extremely sparse, totaling less than 1/4 teaspoon. After attempting to rinse the grains with filtered water, they largely disintegrated. Given my experience with kefir, I believe this batch is contaminated and unsafe to use. While the packaging was professional, the quality of the product did not justify the $16 price point. I would recommend that other buyers purchase kefir grains locally so they can verify the condition of the product before purchasing

Somehow I dumped my kefir grains out but I’m so happy I could purchase these! I added them to 1/2gallon mason jar with fresh milk in the morning… the following morning I had my beautiful kefir again!! Very strong grains because it turned in 16hours

Fue muy mal producto. Vino con color rosa y nunca se fermento o multiplicó. Fue una pérdida de tiempo y dinero. Tuve que comprar búlgaros a una persona directamente y ahora si logré hacerlo. No recomiendo a este vendedor

Delivered in just a couple of days and arrived in a small plastic container in great shape. I’d never made kefir before but the instructions answered all my questions. Followed them step by step and in 8 days I had my first glass. It came out creamy, smooth, and not too tangy — the taste and the texture is just perfect. Really happy with this purchase.

Got the kefir grains today in a neat clean little container. I noticed a lot of small grains when I added to my glass jar and whole milk. Now to wait for my baby kefir grains to grow. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow!

Great taste! I had issue with first shipment because of extreme cold but seller was very helpful , responding to my text and questions. They sent me a new package and now I enjoy drinking much better kefir than one from the store. Highly recommended !!!

I tried my darndest to revive and bulk up these grains. I did around 15-20 batches and wasted nearly a gallon and a half of milk. The grains were microscopically small and simply disintegrated with each batch. Each batch they would just get smaller and smaller eventually to the point where there was nothing to strain and they were all gone. Even using a super fine strainer didn't help. very frustrated and disappointed with these grains. Waste of money.

Love it, they are alive and my kefir, taste great ,l feel it's helping me.

Should have read reviews. Less than a half teaspoon received. Impressive packaging made me believe they would be of quality until the lid came off. Save your money.

I ordered this with 2-day delivery, but it ended up taking an entire week. The kefir grains were less than a quarter of what is shown in the picture, and they arrived in a bad state—mushy, with no form, and a bad smell. They haven’t multiplied at all because I had to spend two weeks bringing them back to health. Still, I’m happy and grateful to have them. Thank you!
