Well Built! Easy Install
It might be slightly more expensive than others, but it has a nice smooth operation without the cord getting tangled when retracting. I installed in our garage ceiling, and it was easy.

Well made but challenging to mount
Well constructed cord reel but a beast to mount. The “ installation “ instructions are worthless. You will have to make your own template and solicit another set of hands if mounting on the overhead or vertically.

Solid purchase, no regrets
Just hung this Goodyear cord reel in my new shop/garage. But how much can you really say about a cord reel? This thing feels bomb-proof. The auto-rewind spring is smooth, the stopper works like a charm, and that metal frame is STOUT. The cable is thick—built to handle oil, grease, and Alaska’s temperature swings. Plus, having three outlets on it is straight-up convenient when you’re powering a drill, heater, and work light all at once.

A garage must have
About a year in and still going strong. Mounted on a central location of the garage ceiling. I can reach anywhere in the garage, out to the cars to vacuum and even to the shed! Great tool, not sure how I lived without it.

crap outlets
Plugs don't fit in all the way. The hot side is fine, but the neutral (wider prong) doesn't actually sink in deep enough, leaving 1-2 mm exposed. All 3 outlets on the cord do this, with multiple different things I've tried to plug in. We can't even meet basic design standards now?
