Great little rotary cutter. Pair it with a nice size cutting mat as well as a fabric ruler and you are good to go. With some mats you need to press it down a bit more, especially when squaring up ends, but it will cut it.

Cuts very well on different fabrics. Fiskars makes great products.

I saw a teacher use this on bulletin boards in a TikTok clip and it has changed by teacher decorating life! Such a great purchase. Easy tool to use and has a VERY sharp blade but does come with a guard. This tool is helpful for so many things!

Great for beginners but probably would use electric one or very good scissors. I guess it’s in your preference. But blade is sharp. Comfort in hand is good. It is worth it.

I’m confused by the rave reviews. It cuts but not well at all. 1 star for affordability, and 1 because I received intact. I’ve used many rotary cutters in the past. This is the worst I’ve ever used. The blade is dull, locks, does not glide smoothly at all, and takes considerable pressure to cut through even two layers of cotton fabric. It feels like hacking at fabric, not gliding a rotary cutter for clean cuts and lines. First use and the blade already feels dull. My sister had the same experience with this rotary cutter. I thought hers was just old, but after using my new one, it is the exact same unpleasant experience. I’d spend a few extra dollars and choose a different model or brand. I have a slightly more expense Fiskar 45mm rotary cutter model and the experience, durability, and ease of use is like night and day compared to this one. Personally, I would skip this model and put your money towards something with better ease of use, durability, and function. You’ll be happy you did. No sewist enjoys hacking at fabric or fatigued forearms from cutting pattern pieces.

Der Beste! Habe als Hobby-Näherin schon einige Rollschneider gekauft. Billige vom Kaffeeröster und Hochpreisige von einer großen Kurzwarenmarke. Die dann so leidlich funktionieren. Dieser von Fiskars ist der beste, den ich je hatte! Der geht durch den Stoff wie durch Butter. Schneidet 8 Lagen Stoff so einfach wie mein bisheriger "Guter" 2 Lagen. Kann natürlich nicht sagen, wie lange er so scharf ist,da ich ihn erst gestern bekommen habe. Aber zur Handhabung kann ich sagen, auch wenn er optisch den anderen sehr ähnelt, liegt er viel besser in der Hand und die Arretierung der Klinge ist weitaus besser als bei meinen bisherigen Rollschneidern. Wenn er auch etwas teurer ist, ist er sein Geld auf jeden Fall wert. Werde mir noch einen kaufen, weil ich z.B. für Kunstleder einen anderen Schneider benutze als für dünne Stoffe.

Dieser Rollschneider ist absolut zu empfehlen. Er liegt gut in der Hand und schneidet sehr präzise.

It worked at the beginning but it stopped mid cutting i tried wiping the blade it didn’t work tried it on paper-worked but it didn’t work again on fabric- i had to use scissors at the end and return this item.
