This item was purchased as it would be intended as a pair. I reversed the door on one side as it was more appropriate for its placement. The cabinet was not marked for this but it was easy with the expected results. Both units went together very well. Build quality of the cabinet is very good, strong, sturdy. It is entirely natural wood with the exception of the metal fixings. This includes the back board and parts which will not be seen. The drawer is held back via dowels not metal runners at all but that can be changed if you're good enough. Building the cabinet was very simple and produced good results. It took about an hour and all screw placements are marked with the exception of the base front and sides, a clamp was useful here. Do not use a power screwdriver for the risk of ruining the tapped thread you make in the wood. Make sure you leave enough room at the bottom front for the door to open comfortably and match the sides to this fit. No warped or poorly fitting parts encountered. Overall, very pleased, a good finish, very good quality finish and would recommend to buy. Finally the supplier was more than accommodating when it came to part replacement. A knot in the top surface was poorly positioned. There was no shortage of fixings when assembling. The only disadvantage I may have found is the drawer runner but for the price not a consideration. Top stuff! My DIY skills: High, All but a few jobs tackled with ease including plumbing and electrical work. I've been helping assemble and assembling flat pack furniture for decades. It was nice to work with this as everything was real wood.

Delivered today it took my husband about 2 hrs to put together by himself at 70 yrs i think thats ok. My husband says as long as you take your time its ok to put together just have to have at hand an electric drill to help with the screws as some awkward to screw in. Result is great and we love the rustic look that we have just ordered a tv cabinet great value for money. We love the unit but its no good for people who prefer a polished look. We will just give it a little wax or possibly just leave it as it is and its perfect a great little unit to hide all the telephone router and you view or any other unsightly wires snd cables. Its lovely and will fit anywhere in the home. My husband and I are really pleased about the quality and price. We were going to order a unit which was 169 pounds but we saw this one from amazon and thought this one looked very similar to the one we were going to buy so pleased we bought from amazon. We are now going to buy the tv cabinet so we have saved money and both of them still do not come to the price of the one we were going to buy at 169pounds. well done amazon

We chose this cabinet because it is the correct height for a bedside lamp to sit on and shine down onto a book for comfortable bedtime reading. From our experience, to assemble the cabinet, you will need: A long handled screwdriver A soft hammer A flat bladed screwdriver A pencil + an average level of DIY ability. The instructions don't mention glue but really the whole thing would be a lot stronger if it were glued together during construction. We didn't follow the slightly intimidating instruction sheet, just used common sense. It took a handy chap one and a half hours to make it in a careful and leisurely fashion. We did buy two and the second one only took 45 minutes - this time a power screwdriver was very helpful, and this second time we glued it all together. Firstly he laid it all out on the floor to check through. We decided against using the enclosed round black decorative studs as we liked the look of the finished article without them. Unluckily for us, when we unpacked this bedside cabinet one small part was cracked and broken away from the piece. However we glued it together successfully; it was part of the drawer so not too important. I read from other reviewers that there wouldn't be a problem getting a replacement part but it seemed easier just to mend it there and then. It is a rough and ready item, as even after careful attention some joints just won't fit well, they gape a little. It was declared less easy to make than some Swedish flat pack furniture can be. It's not MDF though, being proper wood, dark pine, apart from the back panel, and the black metal fittings are attractive. I was happy as they perfectly matched a desk I had bought some while ago; do take a look at the image I have posted above of the two items together. Now complete and in position I am really pleased with the cabinet. I gave it a generous treatment with beeswax polish. The cabinet is heavy and solid; no reason why it shouldn't stay where it is being serviceable and attractive to look at for years to come. Even with the niggles I have described I still think it is worth 5 *s as it was so inexpensive and yet when made really looks to be worth more.

Once assembled this is a very good price for what you get but assembly is not as simple as it should be. The main issue with this as a flat pack item seems to be a lack of quality control as the item I received had several faults such as holes that had not been drilled in the right place or not drilled at all. That said if you have a drill to hand. to drill the necessary holes to finish the cabinet off it only takes about hour to put together I would say that to do a good job on this you would want to have: a Drill, A good cross head screw driver, a mallet (some parts can be forced into place) and some wood glue to make it all a little more solid. while I am critical of the flat pack system's quality the wood used on the cabinet is of surprisingly good quality given the price which means once it is together properly it looks considerably better quality than most flat pack furniture in this price range. the quality of the wood also means that it is very easy to repair any flaws in the construction.

This bedside table is of a pretty resonable quality , the fittings are all very well manufactured and don't wobble when used, the fit of the wood however is loose in some places such as on the door and drawer fronts, however it looks fine. The instructions could be better but are usable they just take some getting around. The unit as a whole is of a good quality and worth the higher price tag than most veneer covered tables but it is certainly worth it. Some reviews on here claim to have parts missing but everything was in my package and nothing arrived broken. If the unit is screwed in tightly then it Is very sturdy and has no wobble to it but the odd bit of wood glue couldent hurt in some areas. Over all a very good product and highly recommended in my books.

Having been the victim of wobbly wardrobes, runners on drawers coming loose, back support boards coming away and doors falling off, I shopped around for a couple of weeks whilst deciding on some furniture for the house. I wanted something solid but had to weigh up what I was spending compared to the quality of product. Based on other reviewers confirming that the quality was good, and the price was more that great, I went ahead and wasn't disappointed. Instructions are easy to follow despite there being no labels on the actual product parts. The wood is soft which makes putting it together really easy with the screws provided but it does leave me with concerns about whether it can take a knock. I put it together on my own in just under an hour and it's solid as a rock.

I ordered this from Mercers Furniture via Amazon on a Saturday and received it the next Tuesday. On unpacking the item, every piece was present, in good condition and was clearly labelled. Assembly was straightforward and the instructions were clear. A few dowelling holes were a bit too large, so a drop of PVA was used to keep the dowel in place. Also, some care needs to be taken to keep the unit square while assembling. The final product looked fine - for 35 quid who could argue, although it did look a bit rough and ready. But wait - I remembered that I had a tin of Antique Pine Briwax in a cupboard! Generous application of this totally transformed the unit from a functional, inexpensive looking product to something looking like it cost 6 times the price. It really does stain and polish up well, the Briwax brings out the grain and leaves it with a lovely patina - far superior to the horrible, orange prefabricated pine units that you can buy. Highly recommended product.

Es cierto que cuesta un poco montarlas, pero las instrucciones no están mal y lo cierto es que la calidad/precio es increíble. Personalmente creo que le falta una capa de laca protectora, aunque se podrían usar así.

Ne ho acquistati 2 per una casa di campagna, mi sono piaciuti molto, danno un tocco di rustico all'ambiente, io li ho scelti per questa caratteristica, devo dire che anche i materiali sono buoni considerando il prezzo, ne ho visti alcuni allo stesso prezzo che erano poco più di cartone il montaggio non è difficile per chi ha una certa manualità, tuttavia consiglierei al produttore di migliorare le istruzioni soprattutto per quanto riguarda l'identificazione dei pezzi. Giudizio complessivo buono

la j'avoue que je suis très satisfait de ces commodes j'en ai acheté deux, facile a monter de très belle finition et produit pas très onéreux seul petit bémol le délais de réception assez long facilement 1 mois et demis mais bon c'est pas vital.

Dieses Nachtkästchen macht schon Freude beim aufbauen. Es sieht sehr gut aus und ist sehr stabil. Es ist auch sehr aufnahmefähig. D.h. in die Schublade passt eine Menge Kleinkram und hinter dem Türchen darunter ist auch noch sehr viel Platz. Für Leute die gerne Vollholzmöbel haben, ein Hingucker. Der Preis unter 50 € ist auch ok.

Conforme à la description (parait plus petit sur la photo qu'en réalité). Aucun problème de montage qui a été fait au tournevis. Par goût je n'ai pas mis les clous décoratifs. Conclusion : grand chevet en bois massif (pin) sauf fond du tiroir et fond du meuble. Rendu sympa. Je n'ai pas trouvé mieux à ce prix.
