Analog Tire Pressure Gauge (60PSI)

I was looking for a low pressure gauge (0-60 psi) to check tire pressures on my lawn equip and smaller tires. I have high pressure gauge/inflaters 120+ psi for my truck, camper and larger tires (70-110) but they are not really graduated/marked for low pressure tires. This gauge was exactly what I needed. It is metal, well built and has some weight to it. I got the black face gauge with the white markings. The contrast makes it easy to read plus it is glow in the dark. I held it up to a light bulb for a few seconds in my garage and it glows very bright and is very easy to read in a low light environment. What I really like is that it holds the reading when you remove it from the valve stem. Just take the reading , remove it from the stem and read it. You don't have to struggle keeping the gauge on the valve stem while you are trying to read it if you are in a tight or awkward position. This gauge is dead on accurate. I have a certified certificated calibrated Dill tire pressure gauge check station. I checked this gauge at several different pressures (10, 15, 25. 30 and 50 psi). I was shocked to see that it was dead on at every pressure reading. If you want a low pressure gauge for lawn equip. atv's or golf carts. I highy recommend this gauge.

I bought two of these gauges, one for each car, so this gave me a chance to compare them. First of all, they arrived promptly and in good condition. On unboxing, the gauges appeared nicely made with large easy to read dials. They were easy to use, although there were instructions included and the company reached out with an email which included complete contact info, another copy of the instructions and assurances that if anything was wrong, it would be promptly corrected. I can’t evaluate that statement, since nothing was wrong. I first measured the pressure in a tire , alternating between gauges. I measured 5 times with one gauge and 4 times with the other ( so any systematic variance due to variation in tire pressure could be corrected) and averaged them. There was a 0.9 difference in pressure readings with a std. dev. of zero: the readings with each gauge were reproducible. I then aired up the tire (25 psi was initial pressure) to 35 psi and repeated the test with the same results. Thus, at 35 psi, the difference between gauges was about 2.6%. The gauge on my air hose was somewhere between the gauges, so the deviation from the “real pressure “ was probably less than 2.6%, about 1.3% from mean pressure. Thus, I feel the likelihood that these gauges were well within tolerance is high, but please note I have NO way of measuring against a certified accurate pressure source. However, in the real world, who cares? They are plenty accurate for normal driving. I also checked both gauges by checking the tire pressure but not activating the pressure release button. I waited three minuets and looked for a change in gauge readings. There was none with either gauge. Again, not a perfect test ( should have waited longer), but enough to say they work amply well for intended use. Note my sample size is small, so I cannot say anything about the probability you will receive a good gauge, not can I say anything about durability. However, given the company’s performance so far, I’d bet on good customer service. They seem intent on creating a good name for themselves. The only con is that it is made in China. I prefer to buy American when possible, but that is increasingly difficult these days. The company itself appears to be American, so that’s something. In summary, this seems like a good , accurately described, well-functioning tire gauge. I feel at this time, I can recommend it. If anything changes over time ( poor durability, for example), I’ll amend this review.

I've had a number of tire pressure gauges over the years. Most of them would work fine once or twice but would be broken, or need a battery when I really needed them. When I decided enough was enough with "one-shot" tire pressure gauges I did a quick search on Amazon and this Vondior gauge came up. This is an analogue tire pressure gauge which reads from 0 - 60 psi. The dial is large and covered with a protective rubber sheath which prevents damage from minor knocks/drops. The end of the gauge can be rotated to ensure that the gauge can be read easily. If you find your tires are over-pressure there is a pressure relief valve on the gauge to allow you to incrementally reduce tire pressure, very handy. If this gauge is used correctly it is accurate. You should read your vehicle's manual carefully to find the right conditions for tire pressure measurement. These are typically when the vehicle/tires are cold (haven't been used for a while) and at a representative ambient temperature. Check your vehicle's manual t make sure that these conditions apply to your vehicle. The build quality and ease of use of this Vondior (0 - 60 psi) gauge mean that this is highly recommended.

I bought this for its ANSI accuracy rating. I especially liked the feature that holds the air pressure in the gauge until you push the release button. I am saddened to say after a year of gentle , occasional use the air hold feature quit working . As soon as I remove it from the valve stem the air pressure leaves the gauge rather quickly. I have to get down close to the gauge and read the tire pressure on the gauge before removing it from the stem. The box has a support web address on it but it connected me to a computer repair web site. Update :After examining the gauge I saw it is able to be disassembled. It will be in two parts. The end that goes on the valve stem and the end toward the gauge. Take the silver cap that has a hole thru it for the air to go thru to the gauge. Under this cap will be a round flat disc made of rubber. This piece of rubber is suppose to allow air to go to the gauge then make a seal to hold it there. Mine had a small piece of rubber, about like a speck of pepper that caused the air to leak out. This speck had come from inside the tire. I wiped the rubber disc off and reassembled the end cap. Now it works perfectly. Be careful when disassembling. Do it easily, due to a spring being under the silver cap . Any time it malfunctions I take it apart clean out what is on the rubber disc. That fixes it.

Bought one a while back from AMZ to keep in the car; works well. Went to my local big box store (name starts with a “W”) and bought another tire pressure gauge (their brand; ~top of the line?) and it was terrible-didn’t read the same tire pressure consistently & then just quit. Bought another one of this brand (sold on AMZ) for my other car; works well. Satisfied! Would buy again & won’t waste $ on the local big box store again

I’m comparing these three since Accutire and Milton are the top two models recommended by Popular Mechanics. The Accutire is also highly acclaimed at the top of Consumer Reports ratings. Vondior consistency receives top ratings here at Amazon. I’m tired of inaccurate gauges and I don’t personally are if it’s digital or an old school pen. Tires are beyond expensive these days and for safety and longevity, you need to get it right! Read on to learn which is best: I’d call this a tire tie between Accutire and Vondier. The Accutire can wash out a bit in sunlight but I love its no nonsense design and consistency. For ease of use, it’s my favorite. One big plus for the Vondior design is that there is no battery needed. It is a simple joy to use and it glows in the dark. The Milton gauge is poorly printed and difficult to read although it is quite consistent. Both the Accutire and Vondior are five star totally tubular tire winners. By the way, the majority of tire gauges are not accurate so choose carefully.

Ordered two of these and over a short period of time they both quit working correctly. The pressure gauge will rise when you press it on the stem, but when you pull it off to read it the pressure drops. Bad internal seals or something like that. Basically junk.
