Quick and simple
This square slot cutter works great for cutting single gang outlet boxes in drywall. It attaches securely to the oscillating tool and makes clean, precise cuts with very little effort. It saves a lot of time compared to manual cutting and gives a much more professional result. The blade feels durable and holds up well during use. Makes cutting outlet openings so much easier
This tool saved a lot of time when cutting drywall openings for electrical boxes. It attaches securely and cuts clean, accurate squares with much less effort than doing it by hand. Very useful for quick installs and the cuts came out professional looking.

Amazing tool
These really take the work out of cutting drywall for an electrical outlet. Of course you need an oscillating tool. My one star removed is because it jumps around too much when you are starting your cut. You have to be careful the tool doesn't slide out of your cut area before you bear down on the tool. Otherwise, it is well made and I got used to using it.

Lasted 1 cutout
I was able to successfully cut out 1 outlet hole in 1/2 drywall before the sides broke off. Broken sides still sharp but the steel frame is too thin to last. Threw it in the trash. Words of wisdom, don't get mad like I did and throw it in the trash lol. I maybe could have gotten my money back and sent it back to Amazon. Lessons learned.

My husband is an electrician and says whoever invented this is a genius. This is good quality. It is used everyday and is holding up.

Good for plastic 1-gang boxes
Easy to use however cute perfect boxes for single gang plastic boxes. Cuts too big metal boxes and not worth the extra work to fill.
