This light is amazing and allows me to shoot events at very low ISO. The customer support team is extremely helpful—when I had a broken part, they sent a replacement free of cost. Thank you, GVM, for such an awesome product.

I've run it through the ringer for about a year. Color is on-par for the price, and everything else, from build quality to power output to features, punches well above. To be nitpicky, it's a little on the heavy side for its class, probably a little hotter, and the carry case isn't well arranged to permit a quick setup and teardown (and also allowed some damage to the reflector, but again, I'm packing this thing around constantly for a year). I also wish the ballast mounted to a regular V-Mount like my other lights, but at least it does include the required mount, just know that you'll be looking for the stand with that one different ballast mount on it every time you pack this light, and I've absolutely grabbed the wrong stand on multiple occasions. Ok, really nitpicking now, but 5-stars for a reason, it's the cheapest part of my kit that I put this much faith in.

650w. Fills up even relatively large interior rooms with no sweat. Shine it through a window and boom, instant sunlight. Used on two film shoots so far and extremely pleased with the output and durability. A bit annoying that the cables are on the underside of the power box, meaning you can't set the box on the floor in an upright position, but with the included light stand clamp, and the insane value price point, I'm just nitpicking. Get two of these and have a couple hundred bucks left over, or get one 600x? No brainer for me.

Don't let the brand fool you. This company has stepped up to be a real contender in the market. I own Arri lights and this holds up right there with them. These are super bright and will level up any production.

Brightness and the build quality worth the money I loved it, but package handling and shipping it a mess I’m so pissed to find out one part was damaged 🤦🏾‍♂️

I have a 600D... love it. The 650B compliments it well and has adjustable Kelvin. Very useful and half the price of the Aputure. App is good too.

Bicolor, grosse puissance, tout en métal et très solide, longueur de câble immense, panneau de commande déporté, alimentation possible avec 2 V-LOCK, contrôle avec l'application super intuitif... Bref, un vrai projecteur Ciné de qualité professionnelle !

this light kicks ass. Used it on a couple professional Shoot and it is holding up very well Have not noticed anything wrong with colour accuracy, even down to lower percentage, colour might be off, but not noticeable enough for me to be bothered Super happy with the purchase

I own several budget COB & LED panel lights of various size/wattage, by the likes of Smallrig, Neewer and Zhiyun - this was my first by GVM. While the design appeared rather basic in the marketing images - the build quality, finish and weight more that compensate for any superficial aesthetic issues that i had. The product is robust and VERY bright, but is further boosted further with F60 Fresnel, Godox RFT-19, etc I made the mistake of unpacking & testing it in privacy of of my lounge in the early hours... with light escaping through curtains to wake my children AND the neighbours. It readily overpowers bright interiors & windows during the day. The SD650B is heavy - apparently heavier than its competitors. It will easily overbalance an unsecured C'Stand, especially at height - so its best to use a heavier duty Combo stand. One universal niggle shared with other reviewers concerns the cable feed into the bottom of the seperate control box, which prevents it from being floor mounted, unless its laid on its side. I'm considering options for a bespoke base, however that might just utilise the four recessed screw holes in the underside... I have since taken advantage of a particulaly low sale price & bought a second GVM SD650B ...despite newer larger & cheaper cob lights apparently coming to market

funciona bien todo empacado correcto, pero el control/eliminador tenia unos raspones en la pantalla, que no afectan pero se ve que no es nuevo, no lo regresare por que lo necesito pero me parece algo que le baja muchos puntos

I've had my trusty 300d m2 break and was in the market for a new light. The price and reviews were very good so I decided to try it. Great job from GVM with thia light. Sturdy, bright, and compatible with bowens accessories.
