I am very pleased with this compass. I purchased this compass on 18th June and it arrived from DELHI (NEW DELHI) - INDIA to NOTTINGHAM UNITED KINGDOM on 24th June. I was also able to track the shipping progress and it arrived in very good condition with no problems. I purchased this compass because I want to learn how to use and navigate using this type of compass. I can see myself having fun learning how to use it.

Brilliant piece of equipment

Item misassembled.
The reproduction brass navigational compass was not assembled well: a circumferential ring piece was installed squint and another similar piece was loose. The item was therefore far from acceptable & return was most welcome.

Not perfect.
The numbered top glass was broken in several pieces, no replacement obtainable, so refund given.

Great mantle piece item, also works as a prismatic compass
Solid brass, some original parts, exactly the same as an issue one, Barr for the disc (which was equally serviceable and good)
