Spot On
Having owned a pair of disappointing Frye's boots in the same style that cost me nearly three times the price of these my expectations weren't that high, however other reviews gave me the courage to take the plunge. Initial reaction is 'wow'. The boots are a perfect fit. I wasn't looking forward to the struggle with getting them on, but a set of very helpful instructions (so simple, but so right) ensured they went straight on without any trouble. They look good, seem well made. If they last as long as the Fryes (which wasn't long enough given their price) I'll happily stump up for another pair, in fact I plan to buy another pair in a couple of months if all goes as I hope, in case they decide to stop making them. I have wide feet and find some brands too narrow, but I chose my exact size and they fit perfectly. Half a size down would have been too tight even allowing for break in.

I live in them.
I bought these , the distressed brown version, direct from the US a couple of years ago took a punt paid the import duty as they were unavailable in the UK back then. They are still going strong and are virtually unmarked. They are simple, classy, no fuss biker/cowboy boots. I have had to get the heels re soled a few times but I am heavy on the heels. I almost wish they were in worse shape so I could justify getting a new pair.

Exactly what I wanted.
I ordered a size up and they fit perfectly. Not too tight or loose and feel as if they'll break in as well as could be expected. And they are just like the Durango's I had 45 years ago back in high school. Loved those boots and made miles of tracks. Came back to school after one summer where I grew half a foot plus the height of those boots. Suddenly the bullies were hiding and the gals were introducing themselves. Highly recommend boots.

They are not distressed
These boots are not distressed at all. they have a very shiny finish. Since I wore them gearworldz would not return them.
