They don't come off, not like the ridiculous Baby Bogs I spent 20 mins retracing my steps in the store to find last week... They're a wonderful price for good leather pre-walker shoes. I had a defect in a pair and they immediately sent me a replacement - amazing customer service. On sizing, they're the exact same as Robeez so you can use that size chart. I also have Robeez but prefer these because the style doesn't pinch at the ankle and they're very cute - like FP's but at a much more reasonable price. Btw, I have FP's too - quality is the same as the Sayoyos.
