As well as the colour. I used this product to keep my drinks hot. But I soon discovered that the lid is a major problem. There is no rubber stopper to cover and prevent spillages. (See red arrow 1.) Even using the green bar attached to the lid, does not solve this problem. (See red arrow 2.) As a result of this issue I discovered it was not safe to carry the cup inside my handbag, unless my goal was to allow 40 ounces hot liquid to saturate the contents of my bag and the left side of my body. I’ve also got an issue with the straw. For hygiene purposes it SHOULD have been made with a protective cap to minimise contamination/ germs forming on the tip as well as preventing cold air escaping from arrow 1 whilst the straw is in situ.I’m forced to carry the cup around in my hands especially using public transport. This is so as to avoid spillages in my handbag and burning the left side of my body with hot liquid. Due the design fault of the lid, I’ve found carrying it around a frustrating inconvenience these past two weeks. The only reason why I didn’t return the product and ask for a refund a week ago, was due to the fact that I prematurely threw out the original packaging. Now I’m on the lookout for an alternative replacement, one that has a built in rubber stopper in it’s lid to prevent spillages and accidental burning from hot liquids.Yesterday, the cup accidentally fell out of my hands. This resulted in the lid being broken and compromised. (Please see image with blue arrow), rendering the product unusable. That’s when I realised that the transparent lid is made from very a very brittle type of plastic. Unsafe to drink from.Originally I had high expectations for this product. But unfortunately a key component, the lid has let it down.
