Yara by Ard Al Zaafaran smells really good. It’s sweet, creamy, and a little fruity, and the scent feels very feminine and special. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it, and the bottle is super cute on my shelf. For me, it was just a bit strong at first and can feel a little heavy if I spray too much, so I learned to use only 1–2 sprays. If you like sweet, long-lasting perfumes, you will probably love this, but if you’re sensitive to strong scents, go light with it. Overall, I still really like it and think it’s a great value for the price.

I assumed this would be one of those gross spicy handmade perfumes that the mall stands try to shove on you instead of the one you ask for but I ask for absolute forgiveness for that thought. It smells soooooo unbelievably good and not just I can wear it sometimes good, it smells like if D &G made devotion the way I imagined it would smell but didn’t. It’s better it smells expensive and it smells like warm but not in bed warm it’s a warm that is happy even in a 5 star restaurant or anywhere I can imagine. So yes it’s a roll on I’m put off by roll ons because I assume no one will smell it. I’m typing in a chair I have it on my wrist, I smell it. I smell it when I walk I smell it surrounding me like it’s a spray on. Which I didn’t know was possible with a roll on. The quality is just above and beyond. It’s been an hour.. I smell it just as strongly and it’s not overwhelming because I want to smell it more. It’s an oil I am not greasy that’s a plus. It’s made with DPG I researched and found it has no harmful effects so that’s a plus and it adds longevity. I’m getting into perfumery hence why I even tried this, so now I have learned something new to add to perfumes. Hats off to the maker I mean I am just taken aback really. This should be in every Sephora. I’d pay 200$ + for a pray on version and this tiny roll on is just 4? I think the maker is underestimating what they have made here. My husband is going to be all over me. I’m going to wear this everywhere but it for my sister and mom for Christmas probably more than one. And I’m not being crazy I just can’t believe the class that I just rolled onto myself from what I assumed would be less than and I feel bad for thinking that. If your questioning whether or not to buy this… buy 5. You won’t regret buying it and at this price? Way under priced for the effectiveness and quality. The scent smells like I high end perfume. Ard Al Zaafaran I’m not sure if you’re just being generous here or you are underestimating your clear understanding and knowledge of what notes complement others and I am telling you I will so always buy this you’ve done a phenomenal job in perfectly matched notes. The base is even just starting to come out and it’s just top notch. I smell like if I were dreaming of high quality perfumes on clouds and found the one I was going to wear to meet my husband for the first time and I wanna smell it forever. Thank you. And I know this post seems extra but y’all have to understand the amount of perfumes I’ve bought this month alone from expensive to non and this beats all 63. The close second is Moschino ONLY because it smells so good but it’s missing whatever it is this one Yara has, then d& g light blue then devotion and now Donna Karen’s is beat in fifth below blue jasmine even. lol congrats to ard al zaafaran on making a wonderful product I intend to be buried in one day. I adore it. It’s a clear color if you’re curious and glides easily and don’t leak or spill. D a

The roll on oil smells nice.The top was not completely on when it arrived,I smelled the oil before I open it.Other than that it's ok for the price.

2nd Update 10/17/25: I started using this in april of 2024. It’s still my daily choice of perfume. Just today, someone kindly asked me what I was wearing after smelling me in front of her in a parking garage! I showed her the Amazon listing and BOOM, she’s gonna buy it. At this point, I don’t want anything but this perfume. Take the blind leap of faith with your sniffer ☝️ UPDATE: I’ve been using this perfume for approximately 4ish months now. My original review said the scent lasted a while, but I do think it actually wears off quickly. I find myself reapplying it at least 1-2 times throughout the day. However, literally never in my life have I had so many complete and random strangers approach me about my scent. Everywhere I go, someone starts sniffing the air and says something smells really good. I held a baby for a few minutes and someone could smell my perfume on the baby and said it smelled good. Random women at work constantly tell me I smell amazing. Women tend to love the smell. I had a woman approach me in the grocery store and said she was a scent connoisseur and asked me what I was wearing because she loved it so much. She was shocked when I told her how affordable the scent was. I frequently get comments like “you smell like luxury” or “you smell expensive”! My coworkers sniff my like a dog sometimes!!! The scent has definitely grown on me and I really enjoy the woody and spicy yet also very sweet scent. If you are contemplating purchasing it, DO IT. You will thank yourself later because people will be all over you about how delicious you smell, especially once the scent settles into your skin and melds with your natural pheromones. This scent is definitely an attention grabber and makes you feel sexy and mysterious and flirty! This literally has become my daily perfume despite the fact that I previously decided it wouldn’t be based on a one time use. If you buy and don’t love it right away, use it for a week and the rethink your decision! I originally gave it 4 stars, but I’m giving it 5 now. Original: The scent does last quite a while. I sprayed some on me in the evening because I wanted to smell the new scent and I caught some scents of it lingering the next morning. The scent is sweet and thick. It has slight hints of citrus but the vanilla and patchouli are the strongest notes. The spice is also a bit stronger than I’d personally prefer however, it’s still quite nice. It’s a great date night scent. It reminds me of the bath and body scents but with better quality and way longer lasting. I wouldn’t necessarily pick it as a daily perfume but a great addition to the collection for when I’m feeling spicy and sexy. I’m excited to try more scents!

TRY THIS IF YOURE DIPPING YOUR SCENT TOE IN VANILLA I know warm vanilla scents have been super trendy for the last few years, ever since everyone became obsessed with the Sol de Janeiro scents. I have always been a clean, rainy, ocean scent kind of girl and avoided anything remotely warm. This is definitely a perfect scent to try if you're not sure of how gourmand will work with your body chemistry. I can still smell some cleaner floral notes in there and I think it would blend nicely with the things I already have. It's cheap, small, and I won't be mad if I lose it. I'm also comfortable buying several for different bags or places. I can't speak to the longevity of things. Sometimes I can't smell myself hours later but everyone else can so I think longevity just varies based on a million things.

scent is soft and feminine, and it lasts for a long time during the day and works wonderfully. definitely worth the price and very affordable. the size is great for traveling.

I was really excited to try this Yara roll-on perfume oil because of the gourmand, vanilla, and musk notes. It smells okay—it's a pleasant, sweet blend—but it is incredibly subtle. Because it’s an oil, I expected it to have a bit more projection or staying power, but it sits very close to the skin and you really have to sniff your wrist to catch the scent. If you prefer a very light, faint, and intimate fragrance that won't overwhelm a room, this is a nice option. However, if you are looking for that bold, signature Yara powerhouse scent, you might find this roll-on a bit too quiet.

This was a blind buy as I wanted something different but didn’t want to spend a bunch. The cap was loose upon arrival but there was no leakage. It has a fruity vanilla smell that reminds me a bit of play doh it is NOT unpleasant. I think I’ll buy the spray next. As it may smell lighter infused with alcohol. I like it and will repurchase the spray in the future.

Me llegó en buenas condiciones. Nunca he olido el perfume de Yara, pero al menos este aceite huele rico. Eso sí, MUY dulce. No me llegó derramado ni nada :). Dura mucho en piel.
