Travalo Easy Refill Travel Perfume Atomizer Spray Bottle in Bold Gold

This is such a brilliant little vial for taking on holiday. It takes up next to no room in your bag and the spray works really well. The only problem I found with it is that when you try to fill it up from the original perfume bottle it takes ages to fill up. I followed the instructions and it took me 20 minutes of pumping up and down and it was only half full. I must admit I lost the will to live after that! Maybe I was doing it wrong and someone can tell me how to fill it up more speedily???

This is a lovely looking atomizer. It's very well designed and oozes quality. I am very impressed and will be buying a few of these as Christmas presents. The outer layer (I have gold) is scratchproof which is essential for something thats likely to live in a handbag next to keys. The gold colour is also less brassy than the colour on my monitor - its a great shade.It's easy to refill, fills very quickly and the handy window means you can keep an eye on how much perfume you have left. 'Travalo' is tastefuly inscribed with a little decorative scroll on the back of the atomiser in a shinier gold. The lid is a snug fit so is very unlikely to come adrift and cause a perfume explosion in your bag. It's far sturdier than normal minature perfume bottle lids. The spray attachment is excellent and gives a powerful blast of perfume. I haven't noticed any leaks at all and the one way filling valve does a great job. The interior filling value is about a sixth of the length of the atomiser and looks like a great design to avoid leaks.The only downside of this atomiser is you can only ever use it for one perfume unless you want to creeate your own mixes as there is no way to clean it. If you like wearing a lot of different perfumes then this probably isn't the perfume spray for you and you'd be better off buying minature bottles of your favourite scents (although this looks better quality than any minature bottles I've ever owned).One other small word of caution - the plastic display casing is very thin plastic, the type that cracks into sharp points. Mine was posted and squished in one of those thin, book style brown cardboard wraps Amazon use. If you are buying it for a gift you might want to buy it a few days in advance in case you need to return/replace it. The outer packaging is not up to the quality of the contents and looks a bit cheap and cheerful.

Sooo Gorgeous I just so love this tiny atomiser, looks classy too , very well made, slightly bigger than a lipstick case, very light I'm able to carry it even in the smallest of handbags. My husband and I travel by air quite a lot having a home overseas but now with so many restrictions on luggage and liquids causing problems for the carry-on baggage, I take all of my products toiletries etc in miniature so this is a perfect addition. I am so impressed with this product that I promptly went on to order more as gifts for friends, not just for girlfriends either. My husband and sons also use these for their fragrances, so easy to slip into a jacket pocket. They are so easy to fill, just a matter of seconds and no mess, no spilling or waste............Just perfect! I do have a couple of these one for my day perfume and one for my evening perfume. As I always stick to my classic Chanel, I'm not a girl for all of those designer celebrity brands, so for those that are I suggest that you invest in a few, for the price of a couple of lattes it's not going to break the bank and money well spent. Amazon prices are also cheaper than the duty free prices at the airport or on the airlines, so its worth taking that into consideration.

My wife has for many years struggled to fit bulky perfume bottles into her handbag - especially when we are going somewhere posh and all she has is one of those bags which looks like you would struggle to fit a lipstick into it. Well this device has arrived and proven itself so useful that she will no longer be parted from it.You remove the cap from your existing perfume bottle (something which most but not all bottles will allow) and line up the bottom of the Travalo with the plastic stub which remains on your bottle and fill it by pressing down repeatedly as if spraying the perfume. There is a viewing window on the side of the device which allows you to see how much perfume there is. And it really is that easy! The whole device is just the right size to fit into either a small bag or even a jeans pocket. So there is never again any need to lug around those bulky (and expensive) bottles of perfume.The only question I would have is how the device would cope with changing to a different perfume after using it for a while. However, this would not be a problem for my wife who uses only the one brand. And I guess that the smell of one would soon overpower the previous contents.

Certainly the best perfume atomiser I've owned, the Travalo is smart, compact,does not leak and overall performs extremely well. I bought it because I was fed up with hauling large scent sprays around in the haversack that in my case passes for a handbag but it would be suitable for use with any perfume or aftershave spray and would make an excellent practical gift - possibly in conjunction with a bottle of the intended recipient's fragrance of choice. It is possible to identify via the side panel how much of the contents remain and to determine at a glance whether a refill is required.Refill is simple and quick though on first using the atomiser I was dismayed to find hardly any perfume entering it SO a note should you end up similarly nonplussed by the packaging diagram indicating mode of use especially if like me the atomisers you've used previously have always required tiny funnels and serious dexterity. The key to this product is in its title 'Rapid Pump'. Instead of just engaging the base of the atomiser with the slim plastic pipe on the top of your fragrance bottle, pressing down steadily and waiting for it to fill like a gas lighter, you must PUMP RAPIDLY up and down and hey presto your atomiser will be full in a matter of seconds. Very, very simple - great design economically priced. You'll like it a lot.
