The thin chives I had on top were still green and fresh. I did use the Zwilling wand to suck the air out and just put up with the struggle to get it open.. So, now I'm able to make more of them at once because they last longer. The stoppers on these 2 products are different. I have called Zwilling customer service to see if I could PURCHASE replacement stoppers (didn't ask for anything free) and their response is that they do not sell that part... only thing to do is exchange the entire item! (If it can still be returned). What happens in a year or two if that small piece gets lost? (they pop out easily). So here is hoping desertcart will allow me to return this flawed product. They are not inexpensive, but I thought might be worth the expense if they worked well. Also, I had to call Zwilling. I first tried to email them, but no response. Customer service is just a telephone operator that kicks the can down the road. Every one of them could not keep a vacuume seal. I have discovered that the silicone β€œplug” is primarily at fault and is defective. You cannot even buy a replacement plug from them. The β€œplug” is the round stopper piece that is positioned on the center of the lid. I am sending all of these back.
