Madison Reed Color Therapy Color-Despositing Hair Mask – Zucca Copper, 4oz

This really works.. I have strawberry blonde hair thanks to my colorist, haha. What I wanted was more copper in it... I left it on for about 3 to four minutes after towel blotting hair while in the shower.. Amazing difference!

It's OK. I was able to apply it in the shower without too much of a mess (although gloves are pretty important). The color effect once my hair was dry was a little uneven, and they didn't really last long enough to even out.

The result is nice, but only last a couple of days. I don’t think it’s worth it since the product had to stay on at least 20 minutes to do any kind of decent coverage . The color after processing was very faint, which is what I was looking for, But unfortunately it washed away very quickly. It does work on both hair and beards.

I wanted to achieve copper/red color and mixed Zucca and Rubino. I really loved the results. Finally got the color tand saturation that I wanted, which for some reason was really difficult to achieve at the expensive hair salon. I usually wash my hair once/week and plan to refresh at every wash. Hair is also glossy. I did use my regular shampoo and conditioner and followed with the mask. I did not yet try just mask. Rubino is much more saturated, deeper/darker color, so need to adjust for that when mixing.

It says on the bottle to use everyday for color. I used almost half the bottle my first use and my husband couldn’t even tell I used it. I do have hair past my shoulders and it is thick…but i can’t use a half bottle everyday and with little result. It smells pleasant and feels good in my hair so I gave it two stars

I have very hard well water. It's quite harsh on color-treated hair. Especially on rust/ reddish hair. My new hair color was Completely faded after washing my hair 4 times. I decided to search for an easy product that can be applied to my dreads. During my search, I came across Madison Reed. ( I left the product on for an hour, per application.) Felt like Ronald McDonald with very bright orange hair. I wouldn’t call this a subtle rinse. Tossed it after a test patch.

Excellent product. I tried it to test the color. As my hair is long, one tube used most of the contents. I am moving on to something more permanent in this shade. Arrived promptly and was well packaged.
