Crescent JOBOX 36" Tradesman Steel Chest - CJB635990

Ok, dont normally write reviews but this is fairly significant. Tool boxes were delivered as stated and they were completely wrapped in plastic. Gonna cut to the chase.... Pros: delivered on time and wrapped for shipment. they are the correct size and color. Cons: The lids on these boxes are out of square almost to the point they wont close once opened. It would appear they have been dropped or hit. One of the side braces, once the box is opened, will not bend back into closing position unless force is used. One of the boxes rocks back and forth due to poor quality/craftsmanship. Heck, one of the boxes even has the large side "Jobox" logo sticker put on crooked. Final thoughts: I was expecting better quality and craftsmanship since they are under the Cresent name. I was going to return but them, but I need lockable tool boxes now. Gonna try to square up.

I know it’s just a toolbox and all but I’m pretty disappointed in the amount of dents and scratches all over it even it’s going to probably end up with a lot more eventually. Another thing is that it doesn’t seem to close all the way and needs weight on top to keep it closed. Welds are of extremely poor quality and weld spatter that was just painted over (I’m guessing it’s welded by a machine) you’d figure it’d have to go through some sort of quality control but guess not….it’s only getting 2 stars because it’s after all just a toolbox. I will not be purchasing another box like this.
