I bought four sets of these and couldn't be happier. They connect to Alexa and you can cut them to size. Very easy to install and connect highly recommended.

These COB LED lights are wonderful, their light is smooth and emit a soft glow without pointillist dots and no need for a diffuser. They glow bright or dimly, depending on your mood, and the color options are nearly infinite. Cutting the strips to size is simple, and using their DIY kit (PAUTIX 10mm Connectors for COB RGB LED Strip Lights) you can splice and dice strip pieces together to fit your lighting application. Just be mindful of the overall power supply; the included power supply is adequate for the overall LED strip length, and if you add additional LED strips you'll need to find a higher capacity power supply. The instructions fall very short in describing how to connect the lights to your Wi-Fi, how to connect them to the APP, and how to connect all that to Alexa/Google Assistant. The instructions don't even tell you what app to use, and there's no support website. Here's what I found to work: 1. Install the Tuya Smart app. 2. After launching the Tuya app you'll be prompted to login or create an account. 3. Tap the + button to add a device, select Lighting, Strip Lights, and then select Strip Lights (BLE + Wi-Fi) 3. Ignore the device reset instructions in the app; they didn't work for me. Instead, disconnect the power to the controller, reconnect the power, then press and hold the center On/Off button until the LED strip starts flashing slowly. Now the lights are "breathing" and you're ready to continue in the Tuya app. 4. In the Tuya app tap to confirm the LED strip is breathing and the app should now discover the LED light strip, prompt for Wi-Fi details, and prompt for Alexa/Google Assistant integration. 5. From here you have full control of the lights, schedules, timers, scenes, etc. If you missed it earlier you can enable Alexa/Google Assistant control as well. There is a support email address included in the packaging, it would probably give you similar instructions. I don't know, I didn't try them.

Love them ! Amazed by how the lights are a continuous rope style that can be cut every two inches ..and I used a 4 pin splitter works great .!

As much as I appreciate the length of the light strips and the very narrow distance between the individual LED’s, I do have to knock off stars for the consistency of brightness. As you can see in my pic, I had no choice where outlets were and you can easily tell where one strip ends and another begins because the power at the beginning of the lights is far more than at the end. The Alexa compatibility is a nice bonus.

Super pretty, I enjoy all the modes. Gives a good vibe to our space.

Instructions on this product is not very clear on how to connect this to the Alexa App. It tells me to download the Smart Life App, but does not explain how to connect or which device from the list to connect to. I’ve tried every option on the light strip device (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, both, etc.) and it does not work. The main reason I bought it was because it said you can control it through Alexa and that has been a massive fail.

LEDs were good, but the controller died the first day. Was only showing blue and green, no red…and would not turn off. I hope they will ship me a new one to replace it. I cannot do a return since the LEDs are already installed, and I already tested with a replacement controller, which worked fine.
