They appear to be of good quality and the finish looks good and seems like it should be durable. I would not recommend dropping them on concrete, since that would chip anything aside from a bumper plate, but otherwise, the finish feels tough and put on pretty thick. I have a bunch of Olympic plates that I've added over the years, and these help round out what I have. I wanted more 5 and 10 pound plates for incremental weight additions for some of the "smaller" lifts where I'm not making jumps with 25 or 45 pound plates. The plate diameter differs a bit from some of my existing plates, but that's not a big deal. The 5s are a little smaller diameter than my other 5s for example. I'm a little OCD about matching plates on both sides of the bar, but that's just a personal quirk. I just keep them in order on my plate trees and it's not any problem. I'll probably get some additional dates from this maker because the plates seem of good quality and the price point is very good.
