Does what it is meant to do, easier than in the hob

I saw a reviewer trying out a microwave paste maker and I was eager to find one myself to try at home.I have made different pastas, from died spaghetti, to fresh filled pasta, and even a dried macaroni and cheese (with a powdered mix) in it, and they have all been a success in this microwave pasta maker.Benefits:Easy to follow instructionsStrainer built into the lidNo need to stand over it and watch it doesn't boil over, like when making pasta on the stove topThe dish is deep, and I have had no issues with it ever boiling over or making a mess in the microwaveEasy to cleanTomato sauce doesn't seem to stain the plastic, although I have not left it in the dish very long. I have also rinsed the dish out, right after mixing the tomato sauce into the pasta and dishing it up.Possible ConsIt will potentially be too big for some smaller microwavesI am delighted with my purchase and and happy to recommend it.

I actually found this easy to use and the pasta can be cooked to your desired consistency however no matter how I tried and even after using more water than required and rinsing the pasta under hot water after cooking it always came out far too starchy for me.

I like it, the pasta is cooked fast

i can’t quite get the hand of this it boils over and i need more practice
