This lens is a good value and works great with my Huntsman helmet. I like the grind switch instead of a push button design. The lens uses easy to find clear lens and is very large. You can take a fixed shade helmet and easily convert to an auto darkening helmet. Spending 500.00 on a helmet is your choice but buying this lens will save money and give you excellent results.

Works exactly as it should. Definitely a new go to lense. I replaced my Lincoln viking lense with this. Definitely worth every penny. Cost effective works extremely well. (Better than the viking lense) best part it's not $500.

Does not work tried new battery and still not working get what you pay for I reckon

This fit decent in the Harbor Freight Vulcan 13.5 sq in mask. The piece is slightly thicker than the original but it does fit and seal in the mask. The fit is not the issue the only problem is the shade selector switch is sloppy. Other than that it performs the same as the ARCSAFE insert.

When my trusty Harbor Freight Vulcan welding helmet’s lens failed, I feared I’d need a new one—Harbor Freight doesn’t sell replacements for this helmet! I took a chance, and it fit my helmet perfectly, snapping in with just a screwdriver in under 2 minutes. The true color view is a game-changer—no green tint, just a crystal-clear weld puddle for MIG and stick welding on shade 9-11. The 4 sensors darken in 1/30,000 seconds, preventing flashes and cutting eye strain by half after long sessions. It’s solar-powered with a backup battery, still running strong after a month. I bought extras to keep on hand! Only gripe: No instructions, but YouTube helped. A steal compared to a new helmet—highly recommend for budget welder upgrades!

Leaving it at 3 stars until I get more hood time with it, but so far it’s a great lens, especially for the price. This DOES FIT the older Miller Elite hood (2003-2008 models) The only hiccup is that the lens holder on the inside of the hood is meant for the Elite lens, which is a much smaller viewing window than this one. So you may have to cut out that bottom part IF you’re wanting to use the whole thing. The optical clarity is really good, and it’s definitely true color. Only thing I wish they could do is make this into a digital lens instead of an analog, but beggars can’t be choosers 🤷‍♂️ If this lasts a good while, I’ll definitely update my review, and change it to 5 stars.

Somehow my lense got cracked in my $300 dollar welding hood, no problem replace it right, eh not at $270 just for the lense. In comes this product, granted it doesn't have half as many sensors and it doesn't allow you to see the welds in color like an elite does but it does auto darken, it does so quickly and without the need to turn the lense on or off, I took a couple pics, it has sensitivity shade and delay basically all you need, it also has a switch to change from grind to low shades to high shades or light to dark shades, because it splits the shades up like that it gives a ton of control over how dark it gets and it gets plenty dark but to be honest it has been great using it. I broke the lense in my elite less than a month after getting the hood, been using it like that while only able to use the bottom left corner to view my welds, it's been a pain. Now I just put the hood on and go to town, can see fine when it's not dark and when it is well I still can see great. Couldn't be happier with this find and purchase. If you are in the same situation I was in pull the trigger, it works and it's easier than having to turn the thing on and off every single time cause you don't do that with this one, just weld and it works. Stop and it turns off, the way it should have always been imo

I got this lens as a replacement for my cheap secondary helmet. So far I am impressed. I also have a Viking 3350 and this cheap lens is comparable to it. Good clarity. Not blue but not green. Its a more natural with a slight teal color. Very comfortable on my old eyes. I would recommend this if you need a replacement for an older helmet

Nice colour and great viewing size, but the lens just randomly went light on me not just once, but TWICE! Right in the middle MY CAP on a TEST COUPON!! Thankfully I had my Lincoln lens to put in my helmet after this one betrayed me and tried to blind me.

I have ordered this product 3 times. Shipping was fast and box was not damaged. The first order was great. It's a cheap and functioning option for the helmet. The second order came and it was used, it had a big crack on the screen and batteries were missing. The third order was new but had a factory defect on the screen and also batteries were missing. Not sure if i want to order again as this product comes with issues used or new.

No markings on settings for shade,delay etc. So hard to set shade etc,plus did not darken first time l tried it giving me an arc flash.
