Its the syrup which is their crowning glory and in my opinion makes them the most unctuous Baklava I have ever tasted.... and all of my family agree!Purchased the two trays of Seragli (Baclava Fingers) for a Christmas treat as we as a family are massive fans of Greek food and their sweet cakes and treats.Wow they are good!! Have had lots of different brands of Baclava over the years and I can honestly say that these from Greek tastes 4 all are without doubt the best yet. They are so tasty and yummy and a box does not last long I can assure you as they are that nice.Anyone with a sweet tooth will relish this lovely syrupy treat. A real taste of Greece that will cheer you up at any time but particularly now in the long dark Winter months here in the UK. They are very wet, soaked with a clear sugar syrup that collects in the bottom of their tray. We have been reduced to putting them on a trivet to drain them and may put the second tray we bought in the oven to help the draining process. They are dense rather than the fine layers of filo pastry and the nuts inside are less than generous, in fact there are more springled on the top!
