The New York Times bestselling Wings of Fire series soars to new heights in this first-ever graphic novel adaptation! Not every dragonet wants a destiny ... Clay has grown up under the mountain, chosen along with four other dragonets to fulfill a mysterious prophecy and end the war between the dragon tribes of Pyrrhia. He's not so sure about the prophecy part, but Clay can't imagine not living with the other dragonets; they're his best friends. So when one of the dragonets is threatened, all five spring into action. Together, they will choose freedom over fate, leave the mountain, and fulfill their destiny -- on their own terms. The New York Times bestselling Wings of Fire series takes flight in this first graphic novel edition, adapted by the author with art by Mike Holmes. Review: amazing though….. - Amazing I have these book books at home and I left the last one somewhere so I read it on here and the series is amazing. Don’t read the last one though with the one with turtle ( tsunami’s little brother. I’m pretty sure) also there’s another book with a black dragon on the front and it’s about dark stalker and I don’t think you should read that. I haven’t read it because I just don’t wanna read. It looks kind of dark and then also there’s a one book with a night wing on it and that’s when dark stalker speaks to her so maybe you should wait till your kids a little bit older but I bet they’ll already be older anyway, on the cover it’s really dark, but other than that, I think the series is good for kids 9 and up Review: Perfect for Young Readers Who Love Action & Fantasy! 📖🔥 - This graphic novel brings the Wings of Fire story to life in such a fun and accessible way! The illustrations are vibrant and detailed, perfectly capturing each dragon’s personality and the intensity of their world. The story follows five young dragonets destined to end a war, blending friendship, bravery, and mystery in every page. It’s fast-paced, visually stunning, and a fantastic entry point for kids new to the series. My 9-year-old couldn’t put it down! Tip: Read this together before bedtime—it’s great for sparking imagination and starting conversations about courage and teamwork. I highly recommend this book & I hope you find this review is helpful 👍🏻

The Dragonets Are Coming!!!
As typical, shopping was as expected and very prompt. Item is as it should be (new)! As for the story? I’m a huge fan of the series. Doesn’t matter that I’m 32, I tell ya!!!! After reading through all the novels, I am now making my way through the graphic accompaniment. My daughter is 8 and I’m reading through the actual novel while she looks at the graphic novel. Teamwork makes the dream work. Peril, as always, is my favorite dragon. Glory next. The images really put a face to my imagination. The words are easy to read and follow, and most scenes found in the book are present in the comic. We’re loving it so far!

this series is really good, here is my series review (no spoilers)
I got really engaged into this series recently, but here is my full review of the series (no spoilers) 1. what this is based on this series is about 5 different dragons named the dragonets of destiny. these dragons are supposed to fulfill a prophecy made by morrowseer (a nightwing) who made the prophecy because a war had started. the war started because the sandwing queen named queen oasis had died and people had to choose between the three daughters of queen oasis, blister, blaze, and burn. if you are a dragon fan or fantasy fan, this book/series is PERFECT for you. 2. what to expect this book contains blood, war, fights and love and things that would not be suitable for younger children. every book contains these things so I would say this age range would be 8-9 and up.

Got for the kid I nannied for
I nannied for this family and their son showed me this book series. He would always read it during our reading time together and even I would get into the story haha. eventually, when I nannied for another little boy I got this book for him. He wanted to be able to read, his younger sister had already started chapter books. However, because he was deaf he had a hard time understanding sounds even after getting hearing aids. But because these books are like comic books he was able to follow along with the story when I read to him or by himself somewhat. After some work in school, he was able to start reading the series himself and he really liked it. I was so happy to see him developing his reading skills. I think of that family all the time and I hope they are all thriving. I rated this book moderate because it has pictures but some words are challenging for younger ages, 7or 8 (but if you are there with them that is a chance to learn a new word!)

Great books! Great pictures!
Love these books for my 8 year old who hates reading. She loves the pictures, but more importantly, she's reading! It is above her reading level, so they have several words she's unfamiliar with. However, she gets most of the meanings from pictures and context. We did read alot of it together at first. My biggest complaint is that the print is quite small and not super easy to read font. The books are quite long and the story has layers with a little bit of back and forth between character plots and time or dreams, that could confuse some kids. But she seemed to understand most of this. Just a note for some parents, there are a lot of fight scenes ( some to the death) and some sacasm that might be lost on younger kids.

Amazing
I've been a big fan of Wings of Fire since the first time I've bought a book, out of curiosity. And the comic version is really well done! I absolutely recommend it!
