not really red!, not even red led's...just orange silicone
very much so NOT red, the color is more of a pinkish orange, or pale brick, it is NOT the red they show in the pictures, the light quality is poor, overall construction doesnt seem to be that great either, they "work" but not as they should as they are NOT red, they have a fragile foam backing for some reason hinting at being fragile and not durable, not worth the money UPDATE figured i would have another look at these, popped off the "cotton" ring, only to find a layer of ORANGE silicone...thats part of why these are not RED, under that layer of orange is PURPLE LED's ive no clue what they were thinking when they made these, but its no wonder they are not red

RF noise on FM bands
These make RF noise that interferes with FM. Should be able to knock it out with some ferrite cores but come on
