Worked as needed for stove gas line repairs, decent quality for the price

Great rods. Had to repair a wear through hole on a steel hydraulic line on a 44 year old loader - pretty much zero chance of finding a replacement line and having one custom made would have been expensive. I had never brazed before but using my oxy-acetylene torch I was able to get the line red hot and the flux on the rods drew the nickel-silver right into the hole. Took longer to clean and prep everything than it did to complete the repair. Made for a nice, solid repair.

Works well, others sell nickel silver for way less, but honestly I think these are a little stronger. So it's what you are after. Definitely faster and easier with Acetylene, and if doing anything more than sheet metal, acetylene is a must.

Melts well works fine

Good rods but very expensive. The flux works well and the joint is strong except on ancient brittle iron. My only complaint is the cost per rod. Wow! For those saying it is hard to melt using apropane torch - well of course. It is designed for Mapp at a bare minimum, but works far better with standard oxy acetylene.

Excellent brazing rod for general repairs and home projects. Generally, for applications that can sustain higher operating temperatures - otherwise, careful heat control is needed. Easy to use, very strong and flows well. Great for a novice like me. Quick delivery and decent price from Amazon.

You just need a hot flame to get it to work. Works well.

Good product but expensive a bit

Great for brazing small parts.
