From a mycologists standpoint these blades are perfect. Super low price and tons of blades to do all that I need for my agar transfers. And the blades are conductive with my induction burners so their exactly what I need.

I use these to dermaplane my face. Great for beginners. Would recommend. Sharp enough to work and not too sharp to cut my skin easily. Durable and fit my handles easily. Would repurchase.

I use these to pare a callous on the balls of my feet about once a week. They are sharp so care must be taken to avoid being cut by the blade. But these are excellent for my need.

Needed for veterinary school and they are sharp. Recommend for beginner dissection lab and gross anatomy labs. Will absolutely slice easily through tissues. Have broken a couple when removing from scalpel handle, but I absolutely recommend them for students.

I am happy with blades from JMU and have ordered them in three different sizes/shapes. As of 6/30/2026 be forewarned , however, that there was a mistake with the images depicted on Amazon's ordering page. #24 blades have a slightly curved cutting edge and #25 blades are straight and pointed. If you look at the enlarged pictures of each blade carefully you can see the actual number on the blade. Order carefully so you get the shape you want!

Box came in wrapped in secured plastic. I love knowing when buying things such as this there is no tapering.
