The zipper stays zipped because it is angled at the end of the zipper path which keeps it snugly shut. Quality made and I highly recommend.

Is the Kate Spade logo printed or sewn on? Can of easily be rubbed off or removed?

It is printed on, and it is INCREDIBLY high quality. I am thinking of getting another one as a gift and/or getting the polka dot Kate spade lunch bag. It is sooo gorgeous. As i type this, i think i will get another just like this. I need bright colors these days. And, yes, in love w/the quality and the color. (And I’m a super-picky girl) If you can get it, get it!
