It’s been one year and this cat is still going strong.

This thing is so cute. It purrs. And while it purrs, it lets out a little vibration so you get that purring feeling. Super realistic? Not quite, but it’s pretty dang close. It’s made well, sturdy, but still cuddly. My 6 year old got the urge for a kitten, but we’re both allergic. I decided to get one of these and she loves it! For $11 it’s a fun little kitten toy. It has an on/off switch on the bottom to save battery and keep it quiet if she takes it to school. But the sounds it makes aren’t super annoying - a little sleepy sigh sound and a meowing sound that isn’t repetitive or headache inducing.

Adorable cat toy with cute sounds. Not sure about the 5 surprises. Other than the cat we got bottle, stickers, and sand "cat litter". We don't understand the cat litter either. It just sits in the bottom of the container, but for what? To play with? To get the cat sandy? Seems odd. Does not come with batteries.

I bought 3 of these for Christmas, one for each of my kids aged 2, 3 and 5. They all love them and my 5 year old said it was her favorite Christmas gift. Very simple, but effective design. Depending on where you touch the cat, it’ll respond with a meow or purr and has a button for a little music. The only thing I don’t love as a parent is it comes with some very tiny accessories that have been strewn across my floor and could be a choking hazard for kids who still put things in their mouths.

I don’t usually like interactive toys because our kids play with them once and never look at them again. This cat’s sounds aren’t annoying toys and sounds pretty realistic. My daughter loves how she can pet this one and it purrs as much as she wants without tormenting our real cat. Bonus is being able to choose which cat you get when you order on Amazon so we were able to get the one that looks the most like our cat.
