The Great Goat HuntOut of these, I had previously read only two storie— one involving Monica Killingsworth (6th) and one which had taken place in Dire Planet (12th). They were the best of the lot here. Others were competent and tautly writtten.Unfortunately, complete absence of humour made the stories unnecessarily terse and brought down the pleasure component.Otherwise, this is a very good collection of new-pulp stories. Recommended, accordingly.

These stories made me feel like I had chosen Door #3 and walked into a world waiting just behind and just to the side of the one we live in! Great imagination - you may turn around, take a step and find yourself in one of these adventures.

I am a big fan of science fiction and I generally shy away from fantasy. This collection of stories has a bit of both, and both genres are really well represented here. The stories show a great amount of imagination and I am impressed with the authors creativity. Even the tales that have more of a fantasy element to them were well handled and entertaining (not bogged down with made up words and whatnot.)This is one of the best short story collection I have found for my kindle. Highly recommended.

I liked it because there were so many short stories of such a variety, but some of them left you wanting to know more kept you on the edge of your seat waiting to find out the endings. kept me interested and looking forward to the next story
