Brought this as my dog slops most of his water over a mat and the floor! It works brilliantly and he straight away started using it. Holds a lot of water which is ideal. Contains a filter which needs replacing , but not looked into that yet.. Am very pleased with it .

The concept behind this is actually really good. The splash-proof design does exactly what it's supposed to do and helps reduce spills, splashing and the amount of water that somehow ends up all over the floor around a normal dog bowl. Unfortunately, this assumes your dog is happy interacting with the floating plate design. Mine quickly decided that the possibility of getting her paws slightly wet was simply unacceptable and treated the bowl with a level of suspicion normally reserved for vacuum cleaners. The bowl itself worked exactly as intended and I can't fault the product for my dog's personal opinions on water-related matters. If your dog is less dramatic than mine, it's a clever design and could be a great way of reducing mess around the house.

My cocker spaniel always drinks water like he's bobbing for apples. Ears, nose, chin and neck all sopping wet, and inevitably that's when he comes to give kisses and love, dripping water all over us. This bowl is amazing. The floating plate means he now laps up water when he drinks, rather than waterboarding himself. Wet ears and dripping water everywhere are things of the past. It's well made and really sturdy, easy to put together and easy enough to use that my super-stupid 12 year old pooch figured it out quickly. Its shape means it fits into a corner so there's no round bowl sliding around. Highly recommend

Used this for my GSD for a few months now. It does get a little slimy, which the stainless steel doesn't do. I do find the concept/design very clever and effective. If you've got a German Shepard, you probably already know you need this. Would love to have something less plastic. It perfect at preventing spillage, and it good value, I however would look for something steel next time.

Bought for our dog in the motorhome. Works great but need to clean it regularly

Leaked and the clip on top kept falling off. Total waste of time and money. Not fit for purpose.

This bowl works great and keeps your pet from making a mess with a regular water bowl. I read the reviews of other people saying that their dog can't get water out of it, well they must have pretty dumb dogs... My dog drinks out of it just fine and our cat has now started drinking out of it with no problem even though he has a fountain type water device a couple of feet away. It works as expected and my dog and cat are happy with it and I'm glad I don't have puddles everywhere after she drinks out of it or bumps it.

Both my dog and my cat use this. There is no mess around the bowl anymore on my nice hardwood floors. The only thing I have had happen is my dog when he is in his crate will still flip this over and spill water all over but I don't fault the product for that as my dog doesn't like being in his crate and thrashes around sometimes. Overall good sturdy product that works as advertised.

Really helped coz my pup kept dipping his paws in water. This has totally solved that problem

My puppy seems to drink like a water Buffalo. Fully puts his nose into the bowl, gets water on the walls and then drips water all over the kitchen floor when he’s done.. Sometimes he drinks so much and so fast that he throws up, poor dude. So this product is PERFECT. It slows down his water intake and keeps water from getting absolutely everywhere. It has a rubber/silicone lined bottom so that the bowl stays in place. Easy to take a part and clean.
