Instructions were mostly okay, some of it needs refining. The worst part of assembly is the large pipes of the reel. The pipes are not labeled, they should show which end mates with the next end! They are basically 2 different diameters, but they only fit together in one combination. They are NOT identical when fitting the pipes together. If you can't fit the pipes together, reverse the smaller pipe through the opposite side of the larger pipe. The length of the reel out of the box is almost 15 feet. If you have a smaller cover, you can shorten the length by sliding the pipes together, drilling some holes, and securing with screws. The parts were safely packed, no damage during transport. Overall impressed with the quality of the hardware and function of the device.

Absolutely love this!! Makes placing and removing the solar cover easy. One person operation. Durable and well built. Super easy to put together. Works as designed. Fits perfectly over the inground pool.

Tube comes in 4 pieces. One end wouldn’t fit into any other piece. After filing edge, it would slide in and worked as advertised. Easy, peasy after filing its edges.

Very good purchase. 14' version is perfect for 14' wide pool. Wish I purchased years ago. Used the pool every weekend since purchase. Well designed. Assembly instructions are very good. Semi-difficult to assemble if you are not a mechanic.

We have problems with covering the pool, the reel is light and difficult to unwind so you have to pull hard and then the reel falls into the pool. It is not stable or sturdy.

This thing is terrible. Completely bows in the middle even when the solar cover isn't attached. This makes it difficult to reel in. It's also a pain because the ends constantly tip over when reeling it out. Compared to my last reel this one is so disappointing.

Wow! Having had a cover reel in the past, this one by Vingli wins that category hands down! Very substantial and quality materials, heavy duty and not bad looking either. A bit of time to put together but well worth that and you can’t beat the price. Recommend highly.

For the price I was impressed by the quality of the parts. Everything appeared to be manufactured with tight tolerances, allowing the plastic, aluminum and steel parts to fit together well. Lots of thought went into clever design details. Stainless steel hardware seems to be high quality and hopefully will resist pool water corrosion. Assembly instructions were pretty good; a couple of places need some improvement eg a diagram shows dimensions X, Y, and z2, but the instructions don't explain the relevance of those parameters, and a table below has data that ambiguously refers to "pool width" which seems like it should correspond with dimension X, but actually means dimension Y, which is the width of the reel (a bit wider than the pool). But overall assembly was straightforward. The unit seems to operate smoothly. Hope it lasts!

De très bonne qualité ! Facile à utiliser seul. Un peu compliqué à assembler à cause des instructions (manque de détails) mais on y arrive. En somme, c'est un très bon achat.
