Smells sweet, and it works
This is my first time using flux so I don't have much to say. I'm glad I ran into "Branchus Creations" on youtube who talked about the Stirri controversy. But I don't think he got to the bottom of it. I can't quite remember how I figured it out. But there were some helpful reviews, and I believe Amtech's website when you try to buy V3, it puts Stirri-V3 in your cart. So this is the real deal, Stirri is the consumer version of the industrial Amtech brand. I did clean it off with alcohol. I was too excited for my first soldering job to pull out a black light and check it for cleanliness. But my solder job is working so far! This DOES have a strong smell, and it stuck in my nose all day. But at least it didn't stink and stay in my nose all day.I used this solder:TOWOT 63-37 High Purity Tin Lead Rosin Core Solder Wire for Electrical Soldering, Content 1.8% Solder flux (1.0mm, 50g)

Stirri is a authentic and quality product
The media could not be loaded. First i want to start by saying i do not work for AmtechDirect nor Stirri. All products ive received were paid for with my own money just like anyone else. im not going into full detail surrounding all the confusion rather it be Amtech, NC-559, Stirri, ect but from my understanding Amtech NC-559 and Stirri are something like Henkel/Loctite where you have the same manufacturer with identical products serving two different markets. Amtech NC-559 being on industrial side and Stirri- being more on the prosumer/Hobby/DIY side of things so the product iitself is the same. Stirri is a protected trademark and will become its own independent brand come november. Stirri will keep the red color labels and Amtech will keep the blue color labels. Stirri is 100% a genuine and authentic product and people over at AmtechDirect are as good as they come. I know because i spoke with them for over 2 hours and never felt rushed off the phone once. They were more than happy to clear up any confusion i had.

V3-TF Flux 30g
Decent quality flux that works exactly as one would expect.Super tacky and stays in place. This flux has a UV trace which makes it a bit easier for clean up or detecting contamination. If needed. This is a no clean flux so it can be left on the PCB without the fear of corrosion.3 different sized Luer style tips for easy dispensing. The smell of this flux is great. It has a sweet smell and is perfect when using in a more closed environment.Made in the USA.Easy to read label with expiration date. The flux I received is good for almost 2 years with an expiration date in 11/2025.Hopefully stock will be rotated regularly so no one receives product that twill expire quickly.Overall a decent flux for a reasonable price when compared to competitors.

Amazing for great flow but...
Great soldering flow but a bit messy to clean up.

This is the flux I have been searching for
I've been doing electronics (including microcontrollers, HAM radio, guitar and amp circuitry, radio controlled planes, etc) as a hobby for about 8 years and have worked with at least 5 different varieties of flux including rosin, paste, and gel.In that time I have always found soldering to be a pain. The flux I used in the past was...ok... but it never caused my solder to flow like you see in so many Youtube tutorials. This flux is a game changer for me.I prepped, cleaned, and tinned my iron (brass tip cleaner ), then dispensed a bit of gel into the braids of a 20 ga braided wire. I loaded an appropriate length of solder onto the iron and then touched the melted solder to the wire braids. Then, just like that, the solder flowed, evenly saturating the braids leaving a silvery shiny weld.Doing this in the past always was a giant pain and often resulted in melting insulation, etc because the solder just wouldn't flow. Even in the best cases, it still took too long to flow, regardless of my temperature settings, type of solder, etc. Now it's a simple and clean task, as it should be.The dispenser syringe is heavy duty. It comes with a removable and mess free plunger, 2 different sized tips, and a stopper, all of which is the best quality I have seen in a soldering flux application. This is good stuff. If you do any soldering, I recommend it 100%.

Great flux, easy to apply precisely and sticks where you apply it!
I have been looking for a better solution than using a toothpick or paper clip to try and apply precise amounts of flux to small areas for electronics work, and this flux paste in a syringe is exactly what I need! It comes with a couple different sizes of blunt-tip needles, so you can either put a lot or a very fine amount of flux exactly where you need it.The flux itself is very high quality and does a great job, even with lead-free solder that tends to oxidize very quickly. As a first test I squeezed out a bit and stuck it to a 20ga wire that I stripped. The paste stuck where I put it on the wire and didn't run or fall off, it has a very high viscosity that will be very easy to work with. A quick touch with a tinned soldering iron and the solder flowed instantly onto the wire, even though the soldering iron already had a bit of oxidation on it being lead-free.I am going to throw away all of the other tins and tubes of solder I have, they are no where near as good or easy to use as this and I'll never bother using any of them again! I am going to be recommending this to everyone I know who does any soldering work from now on!
