Absolutely love this device and was only $10 bucks! Has an easy-to-read LCD that is backlit with clear large numbers. A press of the M (mode) button toggles through several different readouts, including Watts, Kwh, Voltage monitoring, and more. Can also enter the price of a kwh in your area and it will readout what the device is costing in electricity. I prefer this design, seeing just one readout at a time (with the mode button to switch if you want), vs screens with multiple readouts on the same screen, making the readouts smaller, cramped and harder to read. It also feels durable, and came with a sheet of instructions that had font you can actually easily read, though it's so simple to use, you probably won't need them.I've only had it a few hours and can't imagine being without it. If something happened to it I'd replace it in a second. Great buy, very happy!

Great little unit for the price, pretty accurate and within 2% of actual power consumption with a wide measuring range. I bought it mainly to verify wattage as I am seeing a lot of mislabeled electrical goods in the market lately.Has worked well so far to identify mislabeled products or defective goods.

Simple, cheap, but functional. Easy to use with a big, backlit display. I chose this one because two of my Kill-A-Watt meters failed, and they had fewer functions at a higher price.

So far, so good. I'd have given it 5 stars, but you can't rotate the part you plug into the wall so the unit is big and upside down at least in my house. I know they used to install outlets upside down so if the cord started to fall out of the outlet, it would be the ground plug and not the two prongs. That has presented itself with complications for the 30 years I've lived here. Had to use an extension cord and plug that Into the outlet, then plug the meter into the extension cord, then plug the item to be measured into the meter. Has all the essential data points you'd want to measure. Has a nice user guide to explain how to use this. So far I'm very satisfied.

Good quality, easy to use with their directions. Monitors all aspects I will need. Going see want the cost of charging my 7 year old BMW i3 EV. Won't be much.

Great tool to see how much power certain items around your house is using. I use it to track power usage on my 3d printers, gaming setups, servers, etc.

This is my second meter for measuring Kwh usage on my Pius. I like its smaller size and lit screen. It allows room for the second outlet to be used for another purpose.

This works well and isn't intrusive. Easy setup too. Just find what you pay for electricity, per KW/h, enter it and it's ready to go.The only thing, which I hope they'll address is that the LED backlight is wsy too bright with no way to adjust the brightness without adding a modification on the PCB itself.Other than that, very nice product at a very reasonable price.

The main reason for getting this meter was to check on the lake intake water line heater that was existing in our cottage when we purchased it. The watt readout lets me, number one, confirm that the heater line is working and drawing power ( there is no other way to tell except the intake line not freezing up), and number 2, how many watts it consumes in different weather conditions.We had a situation where the heater was plugged into the same outlet as our water pump and sometimes the breaker would pop when the pump kicked in. We fixed that by using a different outlet for our heater. Being able to confirm that the heater consumes about 900 watts let us understand why that was happening. We were also able to confirm the heater, which is a self-regulating design with no input from us, varies between 600 and 900 watts.

We are loving abroad in Germany and brought along some 115v appliances. To power them, we got a couple of voltage transformers, which many told us to use sparingly due to their high consumption, especially when the transformer is idle. I wanted to see how they actually performed, not how others claimed they would. So, I got this. It reads voltage, watts, and kwh, and also times the load. This thing is pretty cool. Not only did it do what I wanted, but I could measure use over time. Power here is expensive, so I wanted to know if it would be less expensive to buy and run 240v appliances. For my case, I think the answer is "no", as the appliances are used for a few minutes a day and the meter verified that the transformer only adds about 26 watts to the usage and pulls the same 26 watts with no load. I expect it would get worse as it warmed up, but that's not likely here and we can shut ours off when not in use. That's another thing we were warned of, that the transformer would pull power even switched off. In our case, at least, that is untrue. Ours pull 0 watts turned off.Back to the meter. It's simple to use, and tells me the information that I want to know. The display is simple, logical, back-lit when plugged in to a powered outlet. It works great. Delivery was fast and it was packaged well.
