I liked that these most resembled the factory latches. They were super easy to install. The threads were even the same size as the factory nuts, so I reused them. The locks feel a little cheap, but I don’t open the hood very often anyway. Time will tell if that bites me. But it was a very cheap and easy way to make sure that my hood is at least secured when in hotel parking lots.

Love them. Real easy to install. Fit perfectly. The key to turn is a little hard to turn. Will try silicone spray.

Fits my gladiator great little disappointed my purple latch trims don't fit but I feel better maybe my engine is safer only took me 30 mins to install

The Wrangler locking hood latches are of very good quality. They are more finished looking than the original latches. They fit perfectly and work properly. To install you need a 13mm wrench for the part that installs on the body and a 10mm socket for the part that installs on the hood. The Wrangler does not have much room to get the washer and nuts on the bolts. I placed a damp sponge in the opening below where the nuts screw onto the bolts so i could retrieve the nuts when dropped.

Awful product. Once installed, the locking bars do not spring back like the stock bars. So, you have to carefully close the hood one side at a time, pulling the lock bars out from under the hood, but not fully locking them in place until you go to the other side and do the same thing. Additionally, the keys are stiff inside the locks. I am removing and tossing them in the trash.

I ordered these to replace another set of locking latches. I was hopeful these would be good for my Jeep hood but found issues with them. Cons: - The set I ordered did not come with the correct clasp on one side. I'm not sure if it wasn't machined right or if they sent me two different clasps from two different hood latch kits. I ordered a replacement set and found the parts were as I expected. - The keys from both sets are identical. All 8 keys will fit either of these locks. I would prefer a unique lock and key set. - The springs are so strong that if I take my Jeep in for service, they may not realize this and slam the hood on the locking latches and break them. The springs keep them in the way of closing the hood. Pros: -Looks good on the Jeep. -The locks are visible for anyone servicing my Jeep. (This is important since I had an old set that were the lock was covered by rubber covers and the service technician at the dealer pried them open) Overall, I do like the looks of these locks but will need to get a locksmith to re-key them if I want unique keys. I will see how the function over time. They seem to be a good value for the money.
