We have 2 dogs and a cat, I will probably replace our filter around the 3-4 month point. In general I would think most filters would last 3-6 months depending on pets or location. A dry dusty area or musty area would make a difference in what kind of particles will go through your filter. I use the app to control the air purifier so I don’t have to worry about it. It’s very easy to set up. I’m very happy with this product. The purifier takes little room, quiet, easy to operate, and DOES THE JOB WELL. My spouse is a chain smoker and I have breathing problems. This little machine clears the air of all smoke in our small living room. The smell of the cigarettes is still present while he is smoking. However, it removes the smell when he is not smoking (asleep, out of the house, etc.).
