Surprisingly decent for the price!
I needed to replace my existing laundry hamper which was over 20 years old because the cloth lining inside the metal mesh cage was stained with mould. While the lining was removable and washable, it was a faff to do and it never really felt ‘clean’ after years of holding sweaty gym gear! So time for a newer model. I’ve included photos to give an idea of the size (next to a conventional washing machine) and to show the extent of the assembly instructions. It took me no more than 10 mins to put together. I would say don’t be too aggressive with the rods - they are basically two separate lengths of metal with a thin elasticated cord running through them. They come folded in half (presumably for convenience of packing) so it appears as if there are 12 in the packet. When you open each rod out there are actually 6. Just slot one end into the end of its partner and it makes a single support rod. The tricky bit is opening out the body of the hamper to insert the rods into their pockets. I managed it by myself without breaking a sweat but another pair of hands may have made it easier. I put the two middle rods in first then did the corners. The important bit seems to be closing the white Velcro tabs over the ends of the rods once you’ve got them in. This really did make a difference to the rigidity of the hamper. Lastly, secure the two liner bags using the toggles (which reminded me of those on my old Duffle coat). My hamper will be permanently located in the utility room so I won’t have a need to collapse it down for storage so I can’t comment on how it withstands repeated assembly/disassembly. The liner bags appear to be washable so I’ll be bunging them on a cold wash every few months. Overall, the constituent parts seem pretty well-made and durable. The rod pockets and Velcro fasteners are sewn in thoroughly. Some of the outer stitching isn’t the neatest but for £23 I’m not bothered about that. It doesn’t look too offensive and is considerable lighter than my metal hamper (when empty, I could carry it with one hand). I already like the two compartments - one has been allocated for wool wash items only and the other for ‘anything goes’.

So impressed with this
Really can't recommend this enough. Trawled for ages looking for something suitable, finally gave up and rested on this one because of all the good reviews it had - I'm not disappointed. 6 rods form the structure - they look a bit flimsy but don't be fooled. They fit into their own tight little pockets rest under the top frame and held in by stiff velcro and hey presto that's your unit assembled ! 2 seperate bags, 1 for each compartment, made of a good heavy weight nylon type material (?) Held in place with toggles at the corners. They have handles on the sides for carrying. So easy to fasten and undo. Lid on top for coverage. Attached to unit, not seperate. Someone left a review saying it just blends into the background? I get it now, it holds such a lot but you don't even notice its there !! I like this so much I'm getting another for putting my recycling materials in, cardboards etc ♻️

Pleasantly surprised!
I was a bit skeptical to buy because of the rods, I thought they’d be flimsy or just not very strong overall but I was wrong. The material is thick and strong and the rods are thick too meaning they won’t bend or easily break. I love the look of it, simple and fits in the space I wanted it for, though is bigger than anticipated (probably my measuring skills!). Absolutely love the bags for ease of taking loads downstairs and didn’t realise they say dark/light! Love it
