I’ve never heard of salt shampoo so was curious to try it. It sounded more like a salt hair mask and it could work as that initially as the salt rubs your scalp but once you really work your hands through your hair and more water gets added, the salt melts in and gives you a good lather. I noticed a familiar minty scent when I squeezed out a dollop of shampoo. It looks and smells like the white part of candy cane. The scent is light and noticeable in a good way. After washing my hair and conditioning as usual, I felt the nice minty coolness on my scalp that’s very refreshing. My head felt clear and cool. This is a great feeling. My hair felt light and soft. I think the product could have a better name as it’s a great product. It is made in Korea.

This was... different. It has the consistency more like a body scrub than shampoo, but that makes sense considering it says it's made with salt. The salt is VERY prominent, it's not a small amount of salt. It also smells like toothpaste, which I wasn't expecting. Anyway, I used my regular shampoo and conditioner first, then shampooed with this so I was using it on clean hair, which may have made a difference. I had to use more than I would with my normal shampoo to get a good lather, but once I did that salt really did a great job of exfoliating my scalp and I got that cooling/tingling feeling which was nice. My hair and scalp did feel really clean afterwards. However, there is a major downside that I should have considered... I, unfortunately, have been dealing with some breakouts on my back. I also have a bad habit of picking at said breakouts, leaving me with gross popped pimple spots on my back. Don't judge me, I can't be the only one and this is important to know and the primary reason i can only give 3 stars... so when I rinsed this out of my hair, and down my back over what are essentially open wounds, it HURT. In retrospect, I was basically pouring salt into my wounds. So if you don't struggle with bacne/picking at anything your brain decides doesn't belong, this could be great. If you do, beware. Because it hurts enough that I'm almost afraid to use it again, but also did really like how my hair felt, so I'm conflicted.

This is not like any traditional shampoo I've ever used. Firstly, it comes out in almost a paste form rather than more liquid like most shampoos. Also, it has salt granules in it, which I wasn't expecting to be so prominent. It felt more like a face mask consistency than shampoo. It took 2 washes to get it to even lather in my hair. Once it did, it created a really nice lather, much more than regular shampoo. I've been having an issue with itchy scalp, and this seems to have helped some. I really like the scent of it. It's refreshing and minty but not overpowering. The directions recommend that you use it only a few times a week and I have not done more than the directions recommended. Other reviews said that they noticed increased hair loss after using this, but I did not have that issue. I shed a lot of hair normally, but I didn't notice any additional shedding after using this. I was worried after washing because my hair felt more dry than usual, but after I towel dried it, it didn't feel any different than normal. I did notice that once it was air dried naturally, it was much more curly than usual. This may have something to do with the shampoo removing any leftover product/residue from before. This does a really good job of cleaning the hair, I'm just not wild about the texture of the product itself.

This ice shampoo comes in a pretty blue tube. The cap is easy to flip open and close, The shampoo, i didn’t feel the need to use a ton like others since it’s aimed to use on the scalp only, and doesn’t feel watered down. I didn’t feel any cold or iciness while massaging in, but after about 5-10 minutes I could feel a cold sensation. It has a very strong minty smell, but smells really good and refreshing. It does have a lot of Antarctica salt, which does a great job at exfoliating scalp, and getting dead skin, flakes, etc out. The consistency is a little thinner than toothpaste, but add salt, it almost feels like a body scrub but for the scalp. My scalp feels very clean and refreshed and I didn’t feel any salt left on my scalp after getting out. I would say the scent is also great for any gender, and with that, I would recommend.

I didn't know what to expect from this shampoo, so when I squeezed out the paste-like shampoo, and rubbed it into my scalp, the Antartica salt is very evident. There are big chunks of the salt that is massaged onto the scalp that feels like an exfoliation of dead skin and debris of the scalp skin. I massaged my entire scalp for about 3-4 minutes and the mint also makes it feel refreshing. I couldn't initially tell if it was working or not. However, what I did notice was that my hair was not as oily on the 2nd day of not washing my hair. The instructions recommend using this shampoo 2-3 times per week. I think the "shampoo" may be confusing and it may be better to state that it's a scalp exfoliator, IMO.

It is white in color, very thick, and truly has salt granules. It also has a nice mint smell. I have had dandruff problems for a long time, and I have been using this shampoo regularly for about two weeks. When I use it, it gives a cool feeling to my scalp. I have to rub it on my scalp and hair for a little longer than my regular shampoo. It produces a reasonably good lather, and the salt scrubs my scalp, exfoliating dandruff and dead skin. It was effective, and the itching of my head has noticeably decreased. Also, there were no side effects such as hair loss, and I am very satisfied with this shampoo.

As described. The tube says Antarctica salt shampoo,for hair regrowth and healthy scalp.the rest is in korean.ot smells like mint,comes out in a gel/paste like texture with LOTS of salt in it.i massaged it in. I let it set for about 7 minutes and rinsed it out. Unfortunately alot of my hair came out with it. which worried me a bit.im not sure if this is an unintentional side effect or part of healing my scalp. ill try this one more time,if more hair falls out using this shampoo then I'll throw it away..
