Women‘s Hiking Cargo Pants UPF 50 Quick Dry with Zipper Pockets

I needed light weight pants that I could wear outside in the Florida summer heat. For reference I’m 5’6”, 155bs, 29” waist, 40” hip, 24” thigh. Typically wear a size 27/28 in curvy jeans, size 8 or medium yoga pants. The fabric on these pants feels cool, soft, lightweight and stretchy. They seem to be good quality. I like the straight leg cut, but there are drawstrings at the ankle so you can wear them jogger style if preferred. These can be worn lower or higher rise but I prefer higher. Wearing them like that, these are the perfect length on me- they hit maybe a centimeter off the floor. The crotch area is similar to the cut that a lot of jogger style pants have so there is a fair amount of loose material there. The elastic band sits slightly loose at just above belly button height on me, so the drawstring is helpful. The waistband can stretch out several inches (see picture) so they are pretty forgiving in that area size wise. The butt and thighs are slightly snug on me. Below the knee the pants feel light & airy, but they are not too thin. I wish the thighs were slightly looser but overall I can’t complain because it’s hard for me to find pants that fit my waist and butt. They are very stretchy and I can comfortably squat down in them. I’m tempted to size up for a roomier/breezier fit, but I’m worried there would be way too much material in the crotch/waist area. Will update for size comparison if I do. I just took my dog for a 30 min walk wearing these. It’s 85 degrees (feels like 93) with 74% humidity, and I’m about as sweaty as I would be wearing shorts. These would be good for warm weather outdoor activities and traveling. I rely a lot on reviews to make clothing purchases so i hope this review is helpful for others!

These are the perfect pants for summer. So soft, lightweight and comfortable, with lots of zipper pockets and drawstrings at the cuffs if you want a tighter fit at the ankles. These can be worn on hikes, for travel and just around town or the house. The fact that they have a UPF of 50 is an important necessity for my sensitive skin. And they look and fit great!

I wanted to like these so much! I have been searching for a pair of "travel pants," primarily for airport travel. I want something comfy, good pockets and to look nicer than sweats. The fabric is light, comfortable and has good stretch. I like that all the pockets zip, my phone fits in a pocket comfortably and the 2 lower pockets are NOT cargo pockets (sometimes cargo pockets on women's clothes aren't proportionate to the length of the pants). I was concerned about the yellow zipper pulls, but as you can see, they can easily be removed. The color is great and opaque. Unfortunately they don't work for me - I'm 5 ft tall and 122-126 lbs for reference and I bought a Medium. I usually wear a 4 or 6 and I'm between a small and medium. The waistband is TIGHT, to the point where a size down would probably be painful. They are too long for me, but there is a toggle at the bottom so you can tighten the pants, but it was too much to fold over. I don't think a size down would make enough of a difference in length. The fit was just way too baggy for me. On me, they looked like pj's. The seam on the inside leg is also coming apart but that could be an easy fix. Because they are so baggy, the weight of my phone in my pocket pulled the pants down (if the waistband wasn't so tight, they would probably fall down). Sadly, they are going back but I would purchase this brand again, this cut just wasn't right for me.

I bought these for hiking in Florida and ended up wearing them for several outdoor activities. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and dry surprisingly fast if you get caught in the rain or work up a sweat. The SPF 50 protection is a huge plus since I’m outside for long periods of time. The fit is flattering without being too tight, and they allow plenty of movement on the trail. The material feels durable but not heavy. Overall, these have become my go-to hiking pants and I’d definitely buy another pair.

Fabric is lightweight and comfortable. Color (army green) is richer than the picture— very nice. Fit is perfect (size medium) My waist is 30 in; hips 40 in; height 5’6”. I have had a pair in dark gray for a while. They are easy to wash and quick dry.

I love these pants. They are exactly what I expected when I ordered them. They are perfect for my job. I love the thigh pockets.Only downside is the left thigh pocket zipper got stuck due to poorly put together fabric and sipper teeth. I cut the zipper off because the zipper continuously gets stuck and I put my work things in that pocket. I can’t get the sipper unstuck without a needle nose pliers. 🤦‍♀️

Update: My first order that loved and reviewed was Blue. I ordered another pair of the same pant but in Black. Now I understand the negative comments. The Black version is polyester and spandex. The Blue is Nylon and Spandex. The Nylon and Spandex is wonderful. The Black polyester isn’t as great. It wrinkles, the same size is 1 1/4 inch shorter and the material is much thinner. It’s not a deal breaker, but definitely a disappointment. If the Black been the first pair I purchased, I doubt I would have ordered another. I am 5’7”, 152 lbs, wear size10 pants and purchased a Medium. They fit perfectly- even long enough which is unusual. I bought them for a European trip. They are comfortable, kept me warm enough in 55-65 degree weather, and the zipper pockets are a game changer. The main front pockets are super deep. The front side zip pockets fit a IPhone 17 comfortably. I washed them out in the sink and hung to dry (4 hours). I didn’t use the rear zip pockets so can’t comment on those. They are super comfy to wear all day. When the weather warmed up in the afternoons I used the drawstrings on the bottom to make them capri length. They take up very little room packing due to the lightweight material. We got misty rain one morning in Ireland and I stayed dry. I highly recommend them.
