My child was 20 lbs and was old enough to support her weight when I stood the suitcase up again. **Q: What are the weight/height recommendations for this product?** A: My child is under 46 in. tall and no way he fit in this seat. He was also under the recommended weight and the seat couldn’t hold his weight and sagged. Even if the seat could hold is weight, there’s no wear to put his feet comfortably. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Weight Limit Not Accurate *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on 12 September 2023* Item can be very convenient for a small child/infant. I used this for my 22 month old, who happens to be small in weight, but tall in height. It worked temporarily. After riding in it for a short period of time, it eventually couldn’t hold him anymore. Very cheap material. Easy to store away. ### ⭐⭐ Not good for a 3 year old *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on 22 July 2023* Feels like the seat is going to break when my child sits on it he is 3 and 27lbs. He would have to hold his feet up using muscles the entire time. Would not be able to use in the airport safely. Small child that is maybe 1 would be fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Convenient for quick layover *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on 11 July 2023* Recently traveled alone with my 7month old. We had a fast layover in Atlanta airport, and this worked great. My son stayed sitting in it just fine, and it was great not having to waist time waiting for a stroller to be brought up. Fits great on roller suitcase, and has room for him to grow.Things to note- worked best with 2wheel cases; his feet touched the ground when suitcase was not tipped. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/539611796-g-taleco-gear-upgraded-travel-seat-for-kids-portable-chair](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/539611796-g-taleco-gear-upgraded-travel-seat-for-kids-portable-chair) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
