Thanks.** A: i just squirt some dish soap in the dispense (maybe a tablespoon, I don't measure) and add a little water. **Q: How long does the brush last before I need to order a replacement?** A: I have had mine 3 years and I am just now replacing the brush and I really don't even need to -- so, I would say 3 to 5 years. It is a GREAT brush. **Q: Is this safe for ceramic pots and pans?** A: Yes - it's not an abrasive brush. However, I mainly use it on dishes to clean off before putting in the dishwasher. I use a non abrasive sponge for pots and pans - I use cast iron/enamel cookware. So...I have no experience with ceramic cookware but I'm sure it would be fine.
