Battery dies within a month
Battery died within a month. The fact that this item got a 3.8 star average review is telling. Most reviewers give a big benefit of the doubt so average review is usually above 4.5. That said, everything else I bought from Inkbird (sous vide, thermometers) are perfect.

Always good to monitor your air quality
I’ve been using this air quality monitor mainly to keep an eye on air quality while 3D printing, and it’s been really solid so far. Setup was quick, basically turn on and good to go. and the display is bright, clear, and easy to read from across the room. It tracks CO2, PM2.5, PM10, and overall AQI, which is super helpful to see how things change during and after a print. The readings seem accurate and respond quickly when the printer starts running or when I open a window for ventilation. It’s nice having actual data instead of just guessing if the air’s getting stuffy or dusty. For anyone doing a lot of 3D printing or working in a small workshop, this little monitor gives some good peace of mind. Big plus it has USB-C charging port!

A vital device to see what our eyes cant see
why did i buy this: i do a lot of WFH and realized i get too tired and exhausted after just a hour. Dk why i bought this and found out that CO2 accumulation was way outta normal levels in my room due to poor ventilation. now i remedied the CO2 issue and also found out that my DIY air purifier works really well. normal AQI is around 70-80 normally in my region. Features and good experience with this product : built in battery lasts for a day but this device is designed to be connected to power at all times. CO2 measurement can be calibrated and is set to off by default built like a brick which i honestly did not expect measurements respond pretty fast to changes which i really appreciate. has a smoke alarm kinda feature where if AQI crosses 100 it beeps. looks nice in my room. The cons and bad experience. backlight is not bright enough experienced a glitch where CO2 ppm was stuck at 500 had to reset the device i wish it lasted atleast for months before charging if there is bad ventilation temperature reading is unreliable Something i want to say: i read a lot of reviews before buying this product and it seems like the seller is listening to feedback and fixing a lot of issues users experienced my experience till date is almost flawless except the problems mentioned above. which is also something i didnt expect. i expect this thing to last atleast 3 years or so and if it fails i will update my review as this one is not cheap at all atleast for me. overall i can confidently recommend this product if you can accept the shortcomings mentioned above

Proof these work: wildfire-caused purple AQI outside and monitor reading agrees
I got two of these monitors because I do pottery in my home basement and I wanted to be sure my air purifiers and pottery practices were keeping the house air safe. I have one in the basement and one the main living area in my house. The readings were always pretty low, ranging from 002-010, except for a couple of times when I kicked up a lot of dust. In those instances, the monitor reading was consistent with the indicators on the air purifiers, but still I was unsure how accurate they are. We are currently experiencing very poor air quality in my area due to distant wildfires. The weather app shows outside air AQI of 240 in my area. My indoor monitors were reading 35 and 24. I put a monitor outside and after several minutes it went up to 222 and had an audible signal. I took it back inside and it was reading 26. I replaced the HEPA filters in my air purifiers and after about 15 minutes, the readings went back to our baseline of 002. I replaced the filters in the basement air purifiers and again the reading on the basement monitor went down from 035 to 002 after about 20 minutes. I was pleased to see that the monitors work as intended, as do the air purifiers. The CO2 reading is not useful to me, and you have to recalibrate for CO2 every time you let the battery go flat, but for my purposes these monitors are great.

Does not charge properly
The charger does not work at all well! I have replaced 2 and neither would charge properly. Since one cannot use batteries, charging is the only way to use it. Finally the price is far too high for something that does not work well!!
