Great for beginners and smooth to flip
I got this trainer butterfly knife to safely learn tricks without worrying about cuts, and I’m really happy with it. It’s well-balanced and has a solid feel—surprisingly sturdy for the price. The handles flip smoothly, and the weight makes it easy to practice without feeling too heavy or too light. The "blade" is blunt and safe, which is perfect for beginners (or parents of kids who are into this stuff). No sharp edges, but it still looks cool and gives a realistic feel. I’ve dropped it more times than I can count, and it’s holding up really well—no loose screws or major damage. The latch works fine, though it can get in the way during tricks sometimes (nothing a rubber band or quick mod can’t fix). Great choice if you're just getting into flipping or want a safe way to practice without risking your fingers. Fun, durable, and definitely worth it. Great for kids too!

Good starter.
Im new to flipping so I dont know the difference. But as for what it feels like to me, it feels like a real balisong. I like it and already learned 2 different flips with it. I got the fever now and actually woke up this morning and the first thing I did was pick it up and started flipping. Great for people who have anxiety. I recommend it for any beginners. Its a bit wobbly not sure how much is too much but wtvr.

Screws come out and may be lost
Screw on the latch came out within 5 minutes of use. Was gonna return it but then I found it and out some loctite on them. Not a bad fix but this isn’t something I should have to deal with. Other than that, its a fine product. It has the correct weight to simulate a real butterfly knife.

Woukd recommend
Great quality, sturdy. The lock is really strong though and tough to locka nd unlock, however Imd rather it be harder to locka nd unlock than it be too easy

Good for a newbie
This is a fun practice device, fit the hand well and is balanced.Well. but it did not hold up very well. The movement is smooth and the sound it makes is pleasant as you're training with it. It lasted just over a month or twenty to twenty five hours practice time, before it broke, I would have to say it's probably worth the money as an introduction. If you are focused on building skill or technique then buy an upgrade.

Great tool for learning how to open and close a butterfly knife with flair
This is a perfect practice tool. It is sturdy and durable and can withstand being dropped or flung across the room. Don't laugh, it happens when you're practicing. The size and weight are accurate so transitioning is easy.

There’s a metal silver thing on it try to take it off just dangling cuz it won’t work unless you do
Using this takes all my stress away
