Fractal Design Ridge White - PCIe 4.0 riser card included - 2x 140mm PWM Aspect fans included - Type C USB - m-ITX PC Gaming Case

I bought this to replace a fractal node 202. I liked the original node, but hated having to take the entire chassis apart for maintenence. The Ridge improves upon the original design in several ways. Instead of a monolithic frame it can be taken apart on each side. Top and bottom of the case have 4 screws, and the sides have a captive screw and pop into place. Super easy to access the inside of the case if you make a mustake or need to access the mobo. I HATE the new middle gpu bracket! I had to remove it 3 times before getting my gpu to seat properly. Im not sure if its supposed to but my case did not include an external power cable. Luckily i had a spare. The form factor can be intimidating, but i really like the new design, and it was a very easy build overall. For comparison, i also own a Cooler Master NR200, and found this easier to assemble.

Case itx di qualità superiore con un design elegante ma moderno. Preso per farne un ibrido htpc/console da tenere in salotto. Assemblaggio molto comodo nonostante le dimensioni ridotte. Le uniche due pecche riscontrate sono uno spazio ridotto per gestire i cablaggi e un flusso d'aria strozzato, ma sono più un difetto tipico delle dimensioni che proprio del case. Prezzo alto ma vista la qualità ci sta.

5 Stars – Excellent Compact Case for a Mini Server! I’m using the Fractal Design Ridge White case as the home for my mini server, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Case looks great, especially when placed in the living room. It really just looks like another console. However, there's cooling problems and it seems like there's not really a solution to it. All case fan slots face the GPU and the motherboard and GPU are in different compartments. There's no fan slots facing the motherboard. I was using the stock AMD wraith cooler but I've upgraded to something more powerful as the air blown from the CPU cooler towards the motherboard essentially is the only cooling for all components on the motherboard. Also, I'm trying to figure out how to do some minimal modding to have a case fan facing the motherboard.
