Deal Or No Deal? I Say Deal!
You know you love game shows, especially if they are DVD games. Deal Or No Deal is a lot of fun to play with, even if you don't get the grand prize of $1,000,000 on the very first game. You have the host of the show, Howie Mandel, explaining some rules and the models can be seen, even if they aren't actually seen opening the cases since the camera is pretty much getting a close up of the amounts hidden in those 26 cases. Overall, it is still a great game to play with.

GREAT GAME FOR FAMILY FUN!
The DVD game Deal or No Deal is a great game for family fun! It does have a small lag time after hitting the select button for the case but that is not annoying at all. It is worth the fun! Looking forward to playing it when the family visits for holidays! I recommend this DVD game!

New disc works well
I have an old Deal or no Deal that freezes up 10% of the time ending the game and is also ended by Gracenote. I do not have problems with the freeze up on the old disc but Gracenote ends the game when it scans the DVD. This occurs 10% of the time and resets to case 1. On the old disc, it resets to case 26. If there is any culprit to point the finger at it is Gracenote. PLEASE HAVE IMAGINATION ENTERTAINMENT ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM WITH GRACENOTE

A bit different set up than the show
The format varied a bit, but easy to catch on to and was a big hit with my six year grandson who loves numbers and money.

Good God, Save Your Money! ! ! !
This game is one hot mess. I bought it for my Mom for Christmas. We decided to play the 2 player game thinking it would be fun. Well, the word my Mother used to describe it is "EXCRUCIATING". This was the slowest and most boring thing I've ever played. There is at least a 10 second pause between EACH function (choosing a case, opening the case, Howie giving you directions, taking turns, looking at your opened case. . .you name it). Each time you switch back to the other player, THE SCREEN LITERALLY GOES BLACK! You only see the suitcase girls in the beginning and the end. When a case is opened, you only see two arms, breasts and the case! When it is your turn to pick a case, there is COMPLETE SILENCE as you scroll - and I use the term loosely - up and down to pick a number. For a "video game" which you assume to move quickly, you'd better set aside at least an hour to play it. You will be exhausted when you're through. We suggest they go back to the drawing board and stop with all the pauses, play some theme music when you are choosing your case, show the girl who opens your case, have the audience clap - ANYTHING!!!!!!!! If you buy this game, you only have yourself to blame. P.S. I won $750,000 and didn't even care, I was just glad it was over.

Not the Real Deal...
This version of the "Deal or No Deal" television game moves very slowly. On the real show (as well as their online version) you can see ALL of the remaining cases from which to choose...this DVD version only shows 4 cases at a time and you must scroll through 7 screens to view them all. This makes for a LOOOOOONNNNNNG game. They do use the real "Howie" (no cartoons) however, there is only a view of a girl's hands opening each case and it's obviously the same girl. Howie's comments are basically the same so, they become very repetitive after you've played the game once or twice. In trying to make the DVD approximate the "real" experience...they have only succeeded in making it very tedious. You end up wanting to MOVE ON to the results. The improvement over the real game is that you can have more than one player...each alternating choices - trying to end up with a better outcome.
