This is an amazing product! It does a great job. Makes sure to wear gloves and use a sponge to apply. Buff off the excess with a terry cloth after it dries. It is dye so be careful and tape off the area you wish to do.

This goes an incredibly long ways. When I realized how thick it was and I needed to whip the excess off. What happened was I had to spread it around more and more of what I was wiping off seem to cover as much as the original area intended to be cover. A 1" sponge brush was fine for the plastic wiper cover at the bottom of the windshield. One Bottle will last someone a life time. I bought gray and Now I want the Black. It really brings an older car a youthful look.Wear gloves, If the coating is thick, It may take longer to dry. 24 + hours later and some still came off onto my finger when testing it for dryness. Beware wearing white clothing.

As someone who had used the solution finish black I had high expectations ordering the grey for a Jeep Liberty. My buddy said just use the black but operating a car lot I like to be stocked with the right supplies. Well I should have listened the “grey” was more like white paint. So after prepping the surface I applied the “grey” and now my trim is much lighter grey than I started with. Good thing I tried it myself on a single piece cause as you can imagine trying to get a white paint off grey plastic isn’t easy. Only way I saved the part was cleaning best I could and using the black trim restorer on everything to make it darker. Black restorer on grey trim isn’t that bad that’s why my buddy suggested I just use the black. We had an avalanche done with the black and it turned out great. But that is grey trim and I noticed most people in the reviews used the grey restorer on the grey avalanche trim so that’s why I got it. I believe what happened with my bottle is they forgot the dye. It looks like all conditioners and no die. I was tempted to mix some of the blackInto the grey bottle to get it right but the opening is too small and I shouldn’t have to do that with such a pricey product. And it’s made in the USA what an embarrassment. Funny how people want made in the USA but only at China prices. This was made in USA and sold at USA prices so no excuses. I’m going to attempt a return but I used some so we’ll see how that goes

Good product. I restored an avalanche, big job. I purchased the grey for the grey trim. I was a bit light. I could have mixed in some of the black restorer but just used another product.

I’m restoring a 1999 Sonoma. The doors and dash had some sun damage this made it look brand new withe exceptional of the areas that had no grey color.

I have a 2012 Nissan Xterra. I was going to buy the gray version of this but it looked a bit too light. My car has dark grey bumpers, not black. This product worked great!!!! It did not turn the bumpers black but rather made them dark gray again. I used it on my front cowl, which is black, and it worked great! I highly recommend this product.UPDATE:Added photo of side panels. They are super faded but with this product they look new again.

The after was essentially the exact same as the before. I was surprised how little I liked this product a I've used the black version many many many times. Unfortunately this product will join so many other products that over promise and under deliver in the trash can. Save your money, it's not worth it. You get about the same result using water.
