Works great...
One of my dogs has a yeast infection, and nothing he’s been given has worked; he’s been itching so badly that he’s bitten himself to the point of bleeding. I bought this product and started giving it to him. I haven't had any trouble getting him to eat it because he actually likes them—and the best part is that I really have seen a change, as he barely scratches anymore. So, in his case, I can definitely say it worked; I’d recommend giving it a try yourself.

As good as Apoquel
My mini dachshund has always been a little itchy. We lived in the mountains all her life until she was 6 and then I moved to a valley in an area renowned for high and diverse pollen counts (lots of ag and trees from around the world). After that, the itching was constant to the point she was scratching patches of fur off. She also had continuous ear infections after the move. The vet determined it was likely environment and not diet (her food hadn’t changed since she stopped eating puppy food but that doesn’t always matter). We started Apoquel during the non-winter months probably in 2018 (.5 tab of 5.4mg per day for a 12 lb dog). With pandemic and inflation, Apoquel is $2.83 per pill, which totals out to be about $1.40/ day. Plus you have to go see a vet annually to get the prescription renewed (no bloodwork, just office visit and they give you another year). And there are some side effects with long term use. We started the Advanced Allergy Support chews a couple months ago. I had to double the dosage (4 per day- dosage reads 2) but she has as much relief with these as she had with Apoquel. She is not itch-free but she is as comfortable as she was before. They do have some calories so I just make sure to not overdo treats and she has not gained weight. Factoring that the chews are around $30/container of 120 right now, the cost per day is $1. The daily cost is .40 lower and she gets other vitamins that are good for her. And no need for a costly and stressful trip to the vet. Definitely a win for us!

GET OFF APOQUEL
My doggo (a rescue) was soooo itchy and scratched paws to the point of bleeding. Had to be put on antibiotics to resolve infection. Then came Cytopoint shots and Apoquel..... finally not the bullet and had allergy testing done. NO FOOD allergies... but SUPER allergic to EVERYTHING environmental...32 kinds of grasses, mites, dust, pollen... you name it!! My FIRST recommendation is(altho it's expensive) GET THE TESTING! Vet originally ASSUMED he was allergic to certain foods, and recommendations included an "ellimination diet" which would have taken forever and, in his case, resulted in EXPENSIVE food changes that accomplished nothing because he had no food allergies. But... living in the country with his days full of exploring woods and ruining in fields, swimming in our pond and "tasting" everything in the garden, management of his allergies was a challenge. I've had him now thru 3 years and noticed the following: * his allergies seem to manifest the most during June- September. (I have taken him OFF Apoquel outside those months... and he has NO issues....I believe during heavy "mowing" season the grasses contribute to his particular sensitivity...(mowing the fields, where he runs, releases more allergens) * During summer, Even on Apoquel, his paws and scratching only somewhat improve during that time. * Adding this product SIGNIFICANTLY improved his symptoms and, in conjunction with the Apoquel, kept him from developing raw scratched paws. ***** I am now weening him OFF Apoquel, by giving him this product and the Apoquel on half- dose during summer only. At close to $200 / month ( cheaper at Sam's Club) that's not only cheaper, but being off Apoquel is better for him on the long term. MY SUGGESTION..... GET THE TESTING... IT'S WORTH IT as a starting point to determine cause of YOUR doggo's issue... they are all different. THEN.... keep track of dates and issues to narrow down and determine troubles and successful solutions. Ex: learning summer was the "trouble time" for my doggo, allowed me to NOT give him Apoquel the other seasons, AND be more vigilant with other preventative measures, such as doggy socks when he went out after fields were mowed, and washing his paws after outside activity during those months. EVERY DOGGY IS DIFFERENT. But take the time to learn what's best for yours. My vet is questioning why I don't use all the perscriptions anymore..... I'm happy to say that THIS PRODUCT ( yes, I've tried many) has DELIVERED!!! I will continue to purchase because IT WORKS!!!

TRULY AWESOME RESULTS!!
WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL!! My dog has suffered endlessly with itchiness for a long time…and we have tried everything. We did the allergy testing and she was only sensitive to 3 things…white potatoes (she always refuses a French fry, even if the other dogs are eager for them), white fish ( also does not like any type of fish) and Turkey ( also refuses to eat). I think most animals have an innate sense of what they shouldn’t eat…she never wanted anything to do with the 3 foods she had sensitivities to. The vet put her on Apoquel which did nothing. I do give her benedryl at night. I also give her the PetLab chews…and she was still scratching…but not as bad as when she didn’t have them. I am going to start eliminating them though, because they have recently changed their formula ( they are a different color now) and they are no longer working as well. That is why I decided to try these as a replacement. These chews ( we buy the bacon flavor) has actually had a very positive impact with her. No more crazy scratching in the middle of the night. ( I thought that issue would plague her forever.) I do think the combination of the turmeric ( for inflammation) and the Quercetin (which stabilizes the histamine) do make a huge difference! These work very well for Bailey!!

Still itchy
These unfortunately did nothing to ease the itching of my two labs. I'm giving three stars because they loved the taste and were very excited when I asked them if they wanted their "Itchy treats." I'm glad that others have seen positive results. We are changing our dog's food and getting them into the vet, so hopefully we'll find a resolution with that.
