ZENY Adjustable Bike Repair Stand, Bicycle Maintenance Stand

For the price, there is nothing better, I think. I was willing to pay a bit more but even at twice the price it just doesn't seem like there is anything better, unless you spend maybe 4 to 5 times more. Yes, there are plastic parts and I would like for the clamp to be more metal, but everything is well-built, well-fitting, and sturdy. I haven't had any problems with the clamp so far, it is massive and reliable, holds mountain bikes with no problems. We will see how it holds up with time and use, but so far I am pretty happy. I also cannot agree with those who say this stand isn't for heavy bikes. I have loaded it up with big old steel-framed mountain bikes with no Issues, together with luggage racks and saddle bag to boot. Don't ovetighten the plastic clamps and you will be OK.

Easy to assemble. Took a while to figure out how to get the bike and stand to work together. Works best when bike center of gravity is in the clamp. The handle stabilizing bar works great. I have a Raleigh Detour II 24 speed. I replaced the derailleur and derailleur hanger. Adjusted and cleaned everything. Works better than new. Got a bike? You need a stand. Fits in my coat closet when not in use. I live in a condo so my living room it the shop. This is just the thing you need if space is limited. Gave it 4 stars because the directions are kind of limited. I'm glad I got it.

Great stand for the price, holds up my Aventon level large frame bike well which weighs 62lb. It does struggle to keep everything level without cranking down but letting the front end on the ground I can pop the back end up for drivetrain maintenance which was my goal.

I use this for my e-trike, which is difficult to support with any stand. I added an adjustable cotton belt as a harness loop to allow the stand to accomodate the odd tricycle shape. This stand easily does the job (with the added harness), in part due to the wide spread possible with this stand's long legs. ... The stand is well built overall and is decently priced. I like the included tool shelf, and benefit greatly from the included handlebar-rod when the front wheel needs to be held off the ground. This stand also works well with the legs adjusted shorter. When not in use, the stand can be collapsed tightly to store in a corner ... I have no criticisms and would buy this stand again.

Firstly the assembly instructions are basically non-existant so that'll be your first obstacle. It does have a nice wide base so I'm never worried about my bikes tipping over. One of my main gripes is that you need to have the bike balanced in the stand, otherwise it will pivot one way or the other because it's basically impossible to tighten the crossbar clamp enough so that it won't slip. If you are only doing occasional light work then this would probably be a great value. I've been using it a couple times a week lately and it has left me wanting something more sturdy.

This stand is very nice. I was concerned because it was cheap and then even more concerned when I got the box and found that all connectors are plastic. It was unnerving right until the point when I mounted my bike. I have a heavy electric bike and I needed to elevate the rear wheel to change the inner tube. The rear wheel has the motor in it so that's the heavier side (at least once the battery is removed). To my surprise, the darn thing did not even creak. No bending of anything, no balancing issues. Figuratively speaking this stand barely broke a sweat. I am very impressed actually. Because of plastic connectors, I still have my doubts whether this stand would hold up long term in a high volume bike repair shop, but for an individual like me with only a rare need to fix or adjust something this stand seems perfect.

I owned a more expensive bike repair stand years ago. Loved it especially since it had a tool box attached instead of a tray. Instructions not great but assembly procedure is intuitively easy. I used the pictures on Amazon for reference. Works well and for my fitness bike adjustments. Only one major flaw. The handlebar stabilizer adjustment rod was broken which is necessary to keep the front wheel straight while working on bike. After I assembled the stand, I removed this handlebar rod from the plastic bag inside the box and found the small plastic knobs to attach the rubber straps were broken off on one end. Zeny asked for pictures which I sent. They immediately resent a replacement part. I suggested that this part be packaged in a foam cushion sleeve to protect the plastic knobs during shipment. This part is not secured in any manner to prevent damage within the shipping box. Rod should be of a more sturdy design as others I’ve used.

The bike stand is sturdy, heavy enough not to slide, or tip, The adjustment of height, leg spread of the base, and angles of the set up are more than sufficient, and much wider than other brands. Seems to be very well made and looks very pleasantly. It makes all necessary adjustments and clean up faster than a trip to a bike shop one way. If one is on a budget, it is going to pay for itself after a first repair made by the one. Therefore, complaints about lack of quick locking clamps and other minor things should not apply. It is a stand for an individual, not for a bike shop.
