Car Power Inverter 300W 12V to 240V – Fast Car Charger, USB-C & USB-A

Really impressed with this car power inverter. It’s compact, well made and incredibly handy to have in the car, especially on longer journeys, camping trips or when you’re away from mains power. The 300W output is more than enough for keeping everyday devices topped up, and having both USB-A and USB-C ports is a great touch. It makes charging phones, tablets and other gadgets really convenient without having to carry a load of different chargers. It’s easy to use, doesn’t take up much room and feels reassuringly solid. The display is also useful for keeping an eye on things while it’s running. A really useful bit of kit to keep in the vehicle. Great for road trips, caravanning and camping, and exactly the sort of thing you don't realise you need until you have one. Very happy with it and would definitely recommend.

I purchased this inverter for my trip to New Zealand to use in my rented camper van. I wanted to rely on my own trusted charger for my laptop and camera. Although the camper had solar power, I decided to bring this inverter for peace of mind, as I was concerned about power fluctuations that could damage my batteries or equipment due to voltage instability. This inverter is versatile, one USB-C port, one standard USB port, and a UK socket, making it suitable for a variety of devices. I used it in the camper van for about two months, and it worked flawlessly. It charged my laptop, phones, fan, and torch without any issues. The inverter is lightweight and compact, making it perfect for travel or use in the car to gain 240v. I packed it in my checked luggage for the flight, and it took up minimal space. Overall, I absolutely loved it,it’s a reliable and convenient device that I’d highly recommend for anyone travelling or needing an efficient charging solution on the go.

I haven't stress tested the inverter yet, but so far it works well for my main use of powering a laptop. I was expecting two USB A ports but instead there was one USB A and one USB C port, which was a nice surprise. The USB C Power Delivery gave 25W at around 10V and the ~230V AC socket worked fine too at around 60W. The waveform is a a 'modified sine wave' which means it's a square wave with some zero crossings stretched out (see picture) -- fine for my usage. The metal enclosure seems solid enough and I was glad to discover a small on/off rocker switch that I didn't see in the photos either.
